I think the only thing in this whole shit show worse than sterilising and removing healthy body parts from children, is the shunning and silencing of those who regret what has been done to them, in order to protect the gender mill and keep pockets being lined. I cant wait until the jail sentences start coming.

Shes so incredibly brave.

What a heart breaking story. Shame on all who encouraged and profited from her transition.

Circumferences · 11/10/2022 09:59

There are going to be so many more.

Detrainitioners will lead the way in bringing this harmful ideology down. One detrainitioners voice is the equivalent to a thousand gender critical people. We can try, but these people are the ones who actually can because they've been there.

FunnyTalks · 11/10/2022 10:15

I read on twitter yesterday, that one of the more well known detransitioners has had newer detransitioners ask if their breasts will grow back when they stop T. The understanding was that cross sex hormones give transwomen breasts, so stopping T and taking female hormones would obviously grow theirs back.

In trans ideology breasts are only ever understood from a male gaze point of view. To hell with female pleasure, future breast feeding or the fact men naturally have some breast tissue too, which is why transwomen are able to grow it a bit.

It is all so sad. And so cloaked in misinformation. And it enrages me that so many young transmen or even non binaries are lead to believe they cannot have breasts. But virtually all trans people that are male keep their dicks.

BitossiBlues · 11/10/2022 10:16

Shame on all who encouraged and profited from her transition.

Does the progressive left in the US have complete cognitive dissonance? Don't they realise they are shilling for drugs companies, who are delighted to have a new group of life long, drug dependent patients on their hands?

Well yes you have large groups who think vaccines are a con despite being one off as a child thing for most.

But becoming a lifelong patient is totally fine 🙄

lightlypoached · 11/10/2022 10:25

Blimey. That's a hard watch. She is very brave.

Lollipopony · 11/10/2022 10:32

Powerful stuff - who is she?

MrsOvertonsWindow · 11/10/2022 10:35

Yet another awful story - the numbers of these are going to explode as all the teenagers currently in the grip of this reach adulthood and finally understand what terrible things they've done to their bodies.

DameMaud · 11/10/2022 10:35

Chloe Cole. Full interview here:

containsnuts · 11/10/2022 10:36

I always thought detransioning would be a rare thing but a recent Youtube search shows it's there's a number of people going through this. I listened to some of their stories and was shocked that anybody should be able to go through the process of fully transitioning, and then back again, in just a few years! Suggests there's not enough psychological screening and many people are rushing into aggressive treatments with permanent consequences that they later regret.

I have a horrible feeling that those who helped cause all this will also be the same people who profit selling these poor buggers the way back. Reconstruction surgeries etc

Either way thet make the money 🤬

SquirrelSoShiny · 11/10/2022 10:37

I really hope their voices are amplified.

WarriorN · 11/10/2022 10:38

She's amazing. She's going full on right to the heart of politics on this.

KC Miller is another woman who's just arrived on twitter with this powerful message.

She's 21. Was on hormones for 5 years.

She says determined to go into academia to create academic push back against WPATH et Al.

She's had a terrible tra victim blamed pile on.

Phoenixes rising.

bigblueyonder · 11/10/2022 10:39

These surgeons are basically performing approved FGM - but the whole body. With a license.

The key point was at 4.26 when she said she had unlimited internet access. This is how it happens- like Molly Russell who succumbed to the social media posts on suicide, others join trans gender ideology. Unfortunately the suicide posts are rightly criticised, trans gender wrongly praised. But the methodologies are very similar.

KatMcBundleFace · 11/10/2022 10:41

This is why we fight.

💔

WarriorN · 11/10/2022 10:42

Exactly. I don't understand why people do not recognise the similarities.

We had a school briefing about Prevent / online harms last week; apparently there's increased activity around extremism among teens as a direct result if the increased time online during the pandemic.

Obviously a lot of young teens will have also been down too many trans ideology rabbit holes over the last two and a half years. I fear a new wave over the next few years.

IcakethereforeIam · 11/10/2022 10:43

Glinner posted on yesterday, a transman/detransitioner after 5 years of wrong sex hormones. They were 21, balding and looked sad and tired but very like a young man. They were talking and, to me, this woman's hand suddenly came in from the side of the shot and touched their head. I realised (duh!) It was their...her hand, she was just scratching her ear.

Of course, all the comments from transpeople and tras were so nice and supportive. Like feck, they were nasty, cruel, full of spite but, to me, also fear.

I doubt she'll read this post but I wish her all the best.

I have vague memories of reading/hearing about a protest against an fgm bill because of the fear it would affect the ability to undergo grs?

I often wonder what would have happened to me if I'd been born 20 years later. I was a tomboy growing up. All my friends were boys, I wore sports clothes, hated dresses and makeup. I was like that until I was 16 then slowly I got more confidence and started dressing in girly clothes. I'd always been insecure about my looks so I protected myself by being one of the boys.

I think if someone had given me the chance to transition in my early teens I would have taken it. Not because I didn't believe I was a girl but because it would let me be cool and different to everyone else.

Sixsmith · 11/10/2022 11:04

What an incredibly brave young woman

I do wonder what happened to society between the " look we know how much you hate your school skirt but its the uniform , and we know u hate dresses but it's your grans 90th and she wants to see you wear the dress she bought " age. We all just got on with it then changed when we got home . Sometimes we just had to do things we didnt like but didn't hurt us. I'm.pretty sure if I'd have ranted about identities and threatening to cut myself that would have been met with the wooden spoon the same as when I went out without telling my parents where I was going.

And the " everything and everyone must validate your identity at all times and everything from school uniform to your pyjamas needs to reflect it or your children will kill themselves " generation.

How are kids that different ? What happened.

I always ponder this too. I would have been the perfect target.

MrsJamin · 11/10/2022 11:53

Chloe Cole is so very brave. Not least to partner with politicians that she doesn't see completely eye to eye with- because the democrats won't listen, the republicans will.
I want Jon Stewart to interview her. To hear her story. Then let's see how he can twist that story for his own smug comedy. Spoiler alert: he can't. He's going to be watching that Apple TV special in 20 years time and realise what clusterfuck of monumental proportions he contributed to.

GrabbyGabby · 11/10/2022 12:28

This is the only brewing medical scandal that the left wing press are not clambering all over. The press played a major role in exposing the opiod scandal, and how pharma companies and medics cynically and systematically profitted on the back of the most vulnerable people in society. Reporters at the Charlestown Gazette won a Pulitzer.

Here we are again, only now we are talking about the active targeting and life long medicalisation of children for profit. And now? Crickets. Nothing from the 'progressive' press, who on every other issue would start with the assumption of pharma profiteering. The press will need to take their share of responsibility when the count of ravaged bodies and minds begins.

Detrans people need our support. TRAs have captured all the support, money and social power, and detrans people have literally none of that and they are the ones getting piled on for simply speaking out for what has happened to them.

Loads of piling on KC Miller, calling her a "grifter", it is interesting how they don't see all these pharma companies making millions off medicalising kids for life and giving them surgeries they don't need as acceptable and not a grift. But someone telling their story that goes against the narrative with nothing to gain from it but hate and abuse: grift.

TRAs are shutting down and piling on detransitioners cos they simply don't like the fact that transition could ever be seen as "the wrong path", it makes them uncomfortable with their own decisions.

We need people to know the dangers of transition BEFORE they decide to do it, not after. TRAs don't want this. Some posts about transition side effects from detrans people (makes for difficult reading tbh but we need this info out there):
