Not sure if it is today or next week. Do we know if this is open like the tribunals?

Speaking from my own perspective:

Maybe, due to the violence and aggression that TRAs seemingly enact whenever their view is challenged (or whenever women just want to gather and speak), some females feel like me, and are not able to put themselves on the “front-line”.

I would be no match for any shouting and physical aggression - I have medical conditions, disabilities and am a single parent. I cannot put myself in such a potentially violent situation.

This in no way lessens my support and commitment.

I consider KJK’s line to be bolstering her confidence. With the amount of shite she gets, I can see why she might wish to have something.

It might not be a line that works for you. It doesn’t work for me. But it doesn’t have to. I don’t agree with everything she says, I don’t agree with everything Julie Bindel says, but then I don’t agree with everything anyone says.

I rejoined a number of times and that didn't help. In the end just waiting about 10 minutes did the trick.

It looks like Mermaids are going to argue that LGBA are wrong if they don't welcome transmen attracted to men. In other words, "same gender attraction" is valid and overrides same sex attraction. But that's a highly contended point and objecting to it is a political position that doesn't necessarily come from any kind of phobia.

That would be at odds with the Equality Act, surely. "Gender" isn't a clearly defined legal term.
