As a trans ally, not only must you observe “no debate” with their opponents, it’s a sensible idea to also have “no debate” with those you ally yourself with. Seems like a pretty unenjoyable group to be aligned with, Jameela.

The only way out of this that I can see is for Jameela to come out as non binary theyself and then I'm sure would all be fine.

One time, I was mis-generationed. Someone must-took me for my kids granny. But that’s ok, because rationally, I knew that they were a neighbour and I had suddenly just shown up one morning with two kids (adopted) - so they assumed that I was granny (I was 40, so it was very plausible). The weirdest thing was that I didn’t take offence, I simply took it within the context it was made. I was not offended, in fact we laugh about it.

One of the many reasons for not buying into this bullshit. I'd much rather be a Magdalen Berns than a Jameela Jamil.

Yes, I remember the hooha when Jameela came out as queer. It was rather traumatic for Jameela. Much more than being just non-binary, I reckon. But maybe now Jameela has to up Jameela’s game even though Jameela only just put she/her right next to Jameela’s name!

Um... well, I think the way it works, this individual retains the right to identify themselves as they want. But because they've put NB pronouns in their bio no one else is allowed to identify them in any specific way.

Jamil later described another incident, which occurred while she was filming the first season of The Good Place in 2016, where she was hit by a car while fleeing a swarm of bees on an evening jog, as her “worst moment,” though she was able to get back up and take refuge in a juice shop. Morrissey suggested that both the Hampstead Road incident and the accident during the filming of The Good Place were the same and had questioned how the story had changed from Jamil suffering an injury that left her bedridden to one that allowed her to walk away after. Morrissey also took issue with a 2015 interview with the Sun in which Jamil said she and Mark Ronson were attacked by 500 bees, pointing out that Ronson later said that he didn’t remember the incident as Jamil did and that “one or two individual bees approached slowly.”
