Plus hearache have you stopped to think about why you're trying to hard to twist what AB said so as to smear her (a black lesbian) of being racist and homophobe so you can discount her as a human? Yes, it's because she cares about women's and gay people's sex-based rights, which they have in law and which they need because of the physical reality of their lives. Black people, disabled people etc presumably you think should be allowed to identify themselves and fight for their rights as a class, on the basis of their physical reality? Spaghetti in a suitcase was originally a racist trope for Italians (who weren’t considered ‘genuinely white’ ), since they’d often come back from Italy with a suitcase full of proper spaghetti.

As times moved on it seemed to become a kind of a racist comedy trope for just about any non white person. I have certainly seen clips with black people poking fun at this trope and I think the phrase was used in a rap song as well. Like a few people on here, I’d go with Allison about whether it’s been applied in a racist way towards black people.

And the reason we don't report these racist homophobic sexist attacks on here is for lurkers to see just what a racist, homophobic, sexist ideology it is.

We want this in the open, for people to make their own minds up about it.
