People in wheelchairs are protected by equality legislation - we can’t bully or refuse them service or fire them just because they’re disabled. I haven't been able to find what age group the Junior league is for, but I did see that apparently they've been quoted in a interview saying they've been playing sports for 'over 30 years' so I think his age is definitely not '30'! It seems unlikely then they would qualify for the junior league so shouldn't be playing against young women anyway. They are playing for an LGBT team^ so if they are^ transgender presumably that's allowed? There is still the risk issue of someone bigger and stronger injuring other players though.

Junior in this context is not age related.. Junior, Intermediate and Senior in GAA are Adult categories based on skill.

In the junior league, they'd be playing against other teams of adult women.
