Had to fill in an equal opps form as part of the onboarding process for my new job.

Curious to see if anybody can correctly say how many and/or which options there were to choose from in the gender and sexuality parts of the form (not including “other” and “prefer not to say”).

Anyone care to venture a guess?

You should have seen the warning signs when they involved you in an "onboarding process".

Who the fuck do they think is going to say 'closeted'? Apart from the fact that you'd need to know what they were closeted about...

They may as well ask for someone's star sign which would actually give more information than these absurd options

It would certainly give you a range of dates for their birth.

Assuming date of birth wasn't on the form.

And assuming that someone didn't just identify as e.g. a Libra.

Anything larger than a sweet shop does "onboarding" now. It's the computer. The word comes with the software, and you don't get a choice.

What’s the difference between homosexual, gay and lesbian? Also, lol at closeted. Surely the whole thing is that you don’t want to tell anyone. So certainly wouldn’t commit it to paper, even if it was anon.

So if you're a transitioning transgender male transfeminine gender non- conforming person, which do you tick? Personally I think there needs to be choices for every combination otherwise it's unfair.
