Calling all environmental feminists! The Green Party is electing a new Deputy Leader & eight positions on the Executive Committee (GPEx). There are gender critical candidates for most posts, including Shahrar Ali for Deputy.
Voting will be throughout August.
If you join the party (for as little as £6.00) before 31st July, you will get a vote.

We have the chance to turn the party around - back to reality, common sense, environmental justice and for women's sex-based rights. Do join us!

Also, Green Party members and non-members can sign up to receive emails from Green Feminists. Just email [email protected]

I really don't know what to do re this complete shower
My local GP councillors are sensible hardworking people doing their best for the local community. I have raised this issue with them and got very carefully worded responses that amount to 'yes, its complicated isn't it but lets do what we can to get more cycle lanes/insulate council houses/support refugees' which is of course admirable but does nothing to protect women and girls. Maybe we'd have better luck turning the Labour party round. At least they have a chance of power.

Disappointing result. Not sure whether to leave or stay now tbh. Wish there was a party for us. SDP isn't big enough they never have anyone standing near here (and I disagree with some of their other policies). As an nhs worker I won't vote tory but even if I was willing to overlook a lot for this one issue of recognising what women are and opposing self ID my local tory MP is actually not on side, he has been saying to include trans conversion therapy in the ban.

Agree, Bailey. I'm hanging about a bit longer to see what happens. It's awful seeing the party getting gutted of all the environmentalists, in favour of populists with different agendas.
