My MP had Penny's video on her Facebook page,and was extolling her virtues. I didn't see it,but a lot of people were commenting that it seemed in poor taste ,was like an episode of Brass Eye,and should be removed.I commented that she couldn't be a feminist because of her work on the Maternity bill. Today the whole thing has been taken down,with just pictures of Penny being posted instead.
It must have been really bad. I wish I had watched it now.😂

Andrea Leadsome giving full on support to Penny, on Channel 4 just now, also trying to draw a line at legal woman, those with a GRC presumably . No discussion to discuss the problems of allowing any male born person having access to women and girls, and the interviewer gave up after several goes at ‘are TW women?’ It would be really good if eg the problems of disabled girls and women needing care were addressed, to name just one likely point of conflict.

It’s not good enough to just trot out what they believe the law says. The law doesn’t declare transwomen “women”, it says people who legally transition to female are are entitled to be treated as female for most legal purposes. They need to get on top of that and stop gaslighting us.

Is Legal woman different to Biological woman when it comes to rights and single sex spaces? Or are they the same?

The Mumsnet webchat demonstrates that it isn't just the TWAW parroting that is Penny's problem.
As I recall, she was supposed to answer questions specifically about women, many of them not about trans at all.
First she refused to appear, then she sent in something that looked like a junior had scribbled it down.
She was invited because, at the time, she was Women and Equalities minister (though I think she may have lost that office by the time her answers appeared).

She shifted office and still managed to shoehorn Trans agenda into her departments. She stayed in the Conservative government, promoting TWAW at every opportunity.

I have to say I'm a bit at FWR regulars not knowing this.

The Polls are from Conservative Home, I think everyone should get in on the letter writing to their MP's who are Tory, reminding them that Penny Mordaunt tried to erase the word mother and woman from the Maternity Allowance Bill, and is being called out by Suella Braverman on this.

We're currently getting rid of one MP for his lack of integrity, Tories would do well not to elect another MP who's also a consistent liar, and wants to form policy that will impact loads of women because her brother is Trans Activist.

Have read the Times today and listened to the BBC - very little mention of Mordaunt, it's all Sunak, Truss, possibly Patel.

The problem it seems, is that Penny and her supporters think her "liberal" views will appeal to young people. Just like Labour, the SNP, the LibDems, and indeed organisations like the BBC.

Trouble is that when it comes to general elections older people tend to vote for grown ups and younger people tend not to turn out. And one day these younger voters will become older and wiser and realise they were gaslit.
