Anyone going to College Green this afternoon for the rally?
I am hoping to if I am feeling better - crappy cold, and hope the weather holds.

ok, and....?

you condemn the morons who allows themselves to be incited to violence by ramdomers on the internet?

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 25/06/2022 15:28

I honestly don't know how to simplify this any further.

If this is a strong driver for you, perhaps if you chat about it with some trusted friends who aren't as involved in the issue, it might produce what they think your point is and whether it coincides with your perception of what you think your point is?

PurgatoryOfPotholes · 25/06/2022 15:38

If it is true what you say about these men simply being useful idiots for right wing agitators, have you got any ideas on how to tell them not to be so easily led? I don't use Telegram or know who uses it. Do you have connections through which to send a message to these self-styled "anti fascists"?

No, there are black clad activists at these events because they are misogynistic twats who think women should be back in the kitchen looking after the kids.

I've said it before.

They really hate their mothers.

@getcheesytime what is the purpose of your commenting? Several people have tried hard to understand.

At first you seemed to be suggesting that the problems at the rally were the fault of KJK et Al getting into bed with far right activists. That KJK needs to be more careful who she works with.
Then you dialled it back and said it was because far right activists got into bed with KJK.
Then dialled it back a bit more,
and now you are saying it's no one's fault the black clad tyrannists turned up, it's just one of those things, nooners fault, no one needs to do anything differently.

In the meantime you've thrown loose accusations about of racism etc, used up peoples time and energy pointing out you are mistaken.

Was that your point? To wear people down? Or did you think people'd let your crap stand without challenge, for others to believe?

I'm really struggling to see anything but duplicity in you, to be honest.

I really can't be arsed, @getcheesytime . I was diligently trying to follow your arguments, work out what you were getting at... then I got frustrated. I'm not wasting any more energy on it. If being misunderstood frustrates you, I suggest you work on your communication skills.

HatefulHaberdashery · 26/06/2022 12:24

@getcheesytime Those Pound Shop Ninjas would find a way to terrorise women, even if Posie Parker wasn't in the mix.

The proof of that, is the way they terrorise WPUK Events, and nobody would say WPUK and Posie are necessarily cut from the same cloth, aside from being female focus & knowing the biological differences between the sexes.

Anyone going to the Speakers Corner today in London today?

endofthelinefinally · 26/06/2022 12:39

There is a certain type of male that sniffs out any opportunity to intimidate and terrorise females, any females. They are like bloodhounds. It is really simple and very common.

To be fair, @getcheesytime I wouldn't particularly want to engage with you any further either. You have been engaged with handsomely already and I can entirely understand that posters have other things they wish to focus on. It's just the way the cookie crumbles, a lot of the time.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 26/06/2022 13:52

They would. I can point to instances of this all over the world. It has nothing to do with KJK. These men just don't like women speaking.

SeaRabbit · 26/06/2022 14:02

Women would rather meet in peace of course, but we are clever enough to know that if they turn up and do their stuff, they will absolutely show why no men should be in women's spaces.

You would think some supporters/allies of trans rights would disown that sort of activism, but I suppose they don't want to be targeted in their turn. Look what happened to LOJ. This is what follows when you hold a tiger by the tail.

Ok. Your posts read just like those senior team leaders and managers from Maya Forstater's employer. That she can hold the views she has but there is no way that she can responsibility discuss them without causing harm to some people.

Whether you intended to do this or not, this is how I and others have read it.

To confirm. No, women are not responsible at all that immature, violent and abusive people deciding they should come and shout and abuse women when they hold 'speaker's corner' style sessions in different cities or organise conferences and seminars.

However, the fact that some other groups agree with feminists on this topic and those groups post content produced by feminists on this topic makes those immature, violent and abusive people react the way they do.

Great. You have made that point. What about that point? Because the implication as you have left it is like the cycle I mentioned above.

The implication is a sleight of hand way of saying that women should change their behaviour if they don't want those abusive aggressive people to turn up to intimidate the. That is how these posts can be read.

Or shall we just cut to the chase and say, some very immature, violent and abusive people cannot engage in any other way and the community they are supposedly supporting doesn't seem to be pushing back on the way these protesters are acting nor do they distance themselves publicly from them.

The issue is fully with them and their lack of ability to act as adults.

The onus is not on women to change their behaviour in any way.

Childrenofthestones · 26/06/2022 22:04

If you want to see the true measure of antifa check out what Dr Ella Hill had to say about them in her Triggernometry interview and the way they doxed her and her family for trying to protect children from the grooming gangs. She's not far right, She is just an ordinary woman grooming gang victim trying to stop it happening to other children.
