Yes, I don’t know who they mean by ‘quacks’ - it’s deliberately obfuscatory language. Do they mean people with counselling qualifications?

Conversion therapy = one intended outcome .

So this latest one says it doesn’t affect consultations with ‘qualified medical professionals’. That means doctors and psychiatrists?

It’s true that Christians are expected to display compassion. Compassion isn’t agreement, though. Nobody is doing anything wrong (if they are compassionate) by disagreeing that people can change sex.

Is it just my imagination or are there a lot of Scots voices in this debate and there are very few people pushing back on this

So the ban is only meant to cover under 18s, not only over 18s.

There are loads of Scottish speakers. I think most MPs are just ignoring it because the government has clearly already said they’re not doing it.

So basically this entire debate is a waste of time as the "T" will not be included. There needs to be a clear definition of what is meant by "quackery"!!

Now Kirsten Oswald is taking it a step further: it’s ‘practices or conducts’ aimed at changing a person’s gender identity (to her).
