They silenced Joan Collins

On Piers Morgan Uncensored, Joan Collins was asked what a woman is and she said she can’t answer that question, she doesn’t want to get cancelled by the trans community.

Ouch. When you’ve cowed one of the most famous, beloved women in the world into silence, is it time to fess up that gender ideology does actually oppress women and compromise their ability to talk about their own bodies?

She doesn't want to take it on. How old is she, late 70s or more? I can't really blame her.

Doesn't that imply that what she actually thinks would get her cancelled so she's just not saying it? Sad she gives a fuck but seems to me she knows what a woman is

But surely she gave her answer by saying that if she spoke accurately, she'd be cancelled. Joan Collins is a wise old fox ❤

I don’t expect her to take anything on. But it’s awful that the basic concept that female people are a thing is something she feels she can’t discuss, especially at her age.

I'm so tired of this.

How much longer can it go on?

I know precise nobody in real life who agrees with TRA dogma, so why does it have such a grip?

Because, as we heard in the tribunal yesterday, everybody is petrified of being called 'transphobic'.

I think that’s terribly clever of her

Wow 89! I'll forgive her for not inviting the wrath at her stage of life. She still managed to get her point across.

She's brilliant and not old at all despite being 89, she's a wise young bird. By saying that she's made it clear.

She's not afraid of gender critical feminists, is she? So I think it's clear what her answer would be.

She has managed to say exactly what she thinks, and get a very good point across, without saying what she thinks.

Nicely done Joan!

I think that's a very clear, very smart answer.

What this actually does is throw sunlight on the unchecked bullying that the TRA/MRA have been allowed to get away with.

Joan has some brilliant books out. Absolutely LOVE her biography which she narrates on Audible. Life affirming and one of those books that you don't want to end. I'd recommend buying it!

What a strong woman to go through what she's been through.

I love Joan Collins. She’s clever and funny and she made the point perfectly. She’s also old. Being old isn’t a personality flaw.

It's like Mcarthyism all over again.

"Transphobe!" is the new "Communist!"

Joan is smart. Makes her point without ego or fanfare but with clarity. Love her.

Her first husband was an awful bullying extortionist abuser who was blackmailing her - and she fought tooth and nail to be respected throughout her career. She knows sexism in pay and status all too well as a woman.

The TRA's can attempt to silence us but they can't control what strong women think.

I tell you what, her autobiography got me out of a terrible depression!
Might buy her diaries too now to support her. I love her beauty books! She exercises in fabulous costumes!

She also went on to answer the question, "What is a woman?" by saying, "me" and pointing to (presumably) people off camera. Then she said, "There are lots of us."
