Transwoman claims Tampax have offered sponsorship

Dylan, currently on 'Day 47 of being a girl' claims Tampax have been in touch.

www.instagram.com/p/CbiQWjUpXXd/

Why?

'Dylan was using a public restroom when a fellow woman called out if she had a tampon, Dylan shyly replying ‘no’.
Afterwards, she decided to buy some to keep in the house and in her purse for all her girlfriends, ending the video with “women support women.” It seemed that Tampax were quite interested in working with Dylan afterwards. What an incredible outcome!'

In the pictures I've seen, JM poses with a pack of liners, and a pack of winged pads.

Here is JM holding a pack of 42 pads with wings.

Wonder what JM uses his pads for? Answers on a postcode

Judging by the poses here, JM isn't sure what to do with them. Looks like an embarrassed knitwear model in a vintage knitting pattern.

For your enjoyment, I've scrounged up a direct link to JM holding pack of winged pads

Ooh, I feel so validated, I'm a real girl!. This must be the joy all the other girls feel when it's time to spend a week cramping and bleeding.

NitroNine · 06/05/2022 13:20

For some reason they had comments off on that Insta post. How extraordinary.

Robinni · 06/05/2022 13:24

i could understand a transman being asked - always axed their woman symbol from packaging a few years ago to accommodate transmen….. but transwomen I just don’t get why they need to get involved here. 🤷‍♀️

Mandodari · 06/05/2022 13:42

@Robinni
Because that's what they do. Plonk themselves in the centre of every discussion about women and if they can't figure out how to center a point on them, they dismiss it and say its not relevant to being a woman.

Fhortu · 06/05/2022 14:04

if they can't figure out how to center a point on them, they dismiss it and say its not relevant to being a woman.

They do the opposite too. One of them will say they have dysphoria over being 6 foot 4 and built like a brick shithouse and the replies come in saying, "Loads of cis women are tall and broad too!"

In response to any post about dysphoria over sex differences, you'll find, "Plenty of cis girls don't have periods/can't get pregnant/have a beard/can't produce enough vaginal wetness to have sex without lube/have to dilate/don't have wide hips/are born without wombs too!"

I think more than anything I hate the parallel some transwomen draw between themselves and infertile women. It's especially tasteless when said transwoman has already fathered children.

I’m a bit worried he’s holding it to his (sorry her) face. Do they not know where you use these products? Maybe they suffer from nose bleeds?

I think womanhood should not be linked to periods or at least periods shouldn't be a prominent part of womanhood

I think zebrahood should not be linked to having four legs or stripes. Or at least having four legs and stripes shouldn't be a prominent part of zebrahood.

Cos then I can say I'm a zebra and convince myself it's sort of possible. I mean it destroys the whole concept of zebras for the entire population who actually are zebras, but hey I want this and I deserve it. So sod zebras. Except me. Who is a different but better kind of redefined just for me zebra.

@Fhortu
I totally agree. The one that makes my blood boil is the false equivalence between a male who wants to be called a women and a women who's had a hysterectomy. The argument that losing your womb doesn't stop you from being a woman, ergo, not having a womb because of the whole being born make thing, makes the two the same. My mother had a hysterectomy, loosing part of her anatomy didn't stop her from being the same beautiful woman she always was. Just the same as it didn't suddenly make my father a woman just because they were now both without a uterus.

I know this is something used as justification. However anyone with those issues have a medical problem it isn’t the standard.

Elsevier have a new product which shows how different women are morphologically.

Have just watched a bit of Dylan after seeing a comment on Twitter and feel that there's a fair bit of piss-taking going on. Suspect that Dylan is not quite as dippy as Dylan appears.

I’ve said this before but Dylan has been trying to get famous (as a gay man) for ages on tiktok as a sort of influencer. Loads of ploys, making videos about their father’s drug addictions, videos about different things etc. Then suddenly Dylan is a girl and is getting lots of attention.

thinkingaboutLangCleg · 10/05/2022 23:36

we are seen as emotional support humans. This might explain the immense rage I see online directed against any woman who rebels against that role. It's like a service dog turning and biting its owner.

Lynn, thanks for perfectly expressing what I've been thinking about but hadn't seen clearly enough to put into words. That's exactly how they see us. Treacherous animals that are meant to serve them.

Neverreturntoathread · 10/05/2022 23:38

Ugh, he just wants attention, don’t give it to him.
