in 5 minutes!

A reminder!

Feminists, please attend - and please vote the motion to 'purge' women who've signed the women's rights declaration Out of Order.

It is the same tactic the Scottish Green Party used. They had an emergency motion about expelling women who didn't believe in gender ideology so were deemed transphobic. It's a way of avoiding proper democratic debate on the issue. Motions on gender issues at the BMA ARM also get last minute pro trans amendments. Everything must be last minute and rushed

DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 12:06

Also parents who voted last night but have child activities this morning are missing out as well

This is me

Vote of no confidence in chair now

Is the chair impartial?

2Rebecca · 05/03/2022 12:08

Not that impartiality exists here. You have to pick a side

DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 12:12

It seems perhaps not

OP posts:
DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 12:13

Dismissive of various points on the feminists' side, supportive of those against them. It seems. I don't know much on the subject.

Vote on Amendment three - AGAINST

OvaHere · 05/03/2022 12:20

This all sounds like a nightmare and not terribly democratic.

DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 12:22

vote for Amendment four and five

@AlisonDonut

What is this Mickey Mouse nonsense?

If they can't even arrange a vote in their own party, how would they ever expect to run a country?

They are obviously trying all the tricks in the book to block people from voting...and are getting subscriptions from people for this?

It is a fucking farce.

I partly agree, altho the GP is about putting pressure on govt - a form of opposition

Vote "FOR"

Rightsraptor · 05/03/2022 12:24

Vote for amendments 4&5 when we can then. About an hour's time at this rate.

I know someone raised at conference yesterday that they couldn't even get the name right - Women's Independence Declaration indeed.

Signalbox · 05/03/2022 12:26

It's painfully slow. I thought this would be 15 minute. I've been sat here for 2 hours.

DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 12:28

same, Signal. My poor kids.

I mean, they're on their screens missing a lovely sunny day. Not shut in a cage. But still.

OP posts:
Signalbox · 05/03/2022 12:33

ffs the vote finally goes live and then they cancel it. Wtaf.

Rightsraptor · 05/03/2022 12:33

Why is the technology so bad,?

ColourMagic · 05/03/2022 12:36

The technology is only bad on the votes relating to G01

ColourMagic · 05/03/2022 12:37

G01 - the 'purging' motion

AlisonDonut · 05/03/2022 12:41

@Rightsraptor

Why is the technology so bad,?
Because they don't want people to vote a certain way and drowning women in village ponds is [currently] illegal?
DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 12:41

Hang on in there wims. Hopefully voting soon. And hopefully strking this appalling motion off.

OP posts:
Signalbox · 05/03/2022 12:43

I'm starting to think the vote will never take place.
