Russian Funding of anti-woke

It seems that someone has 'followed the money' and Putin's manipulation is everywhere amongst the anti-woke, including the Gender Critical. As the press rallies behind Putin by blaming the West's obsession with being woke ( obviously not the press obsessively being anti-woke ) it appears that so many easily influenced people have been victim to his manipulation and money

The funny thing about this is that it can only be targeted at lefties, because the socially conservative are presumably happy being characterised as such, and this is clearly supposed to be a dig.

It just becomes a bit meta when an unsourced screenshot is used (unsuccessfully) to assert something in an OP and then, somehow finds its unattributed self out in the wild, with again, not attribution. It's a little 'Turtles all the way down' and I tend to notice it because the lack of source attribution and a missing source for the original assertion tend to be hallmarks of a lack of critical thinking, afaict because it always turns up as one of the basics in a critical thinking course.

It's something that David Spiegelhalter commented on a lot during COVID–19 as well as in the context of other topics.

Dunno what this was all about but I enjoyed seeing a picture of Kevin of Manchester!

It's also hilarious to see the difference in the calibre of argument of this discussion. Feminists on this board post evidenced, tightly researched discussion with links and attribution and anti women posters post slides with no indication of who authored or produced it and with no link to the original source.

So "someone" has taken a Spanish tweet translated it and added the allegation, with nothing to back it up, that this CitizenGo outfit also funds "the anti trans movement i the UK", with zero evidence. Brilliant.
