The wonderful Kate Grimes expressed interest in a non-exec position at the Tavi this year and was told to not waste her time as she holds gender critical beliefs. Peter Daly has been employed. Wow!

Woman" is a socially constructed gender identity. Usually comes with feminine terms, names, pronouns.

I thought a woman was at the very least a human. You're saying a woman is a label, an abstract thing? Again, how would I discover if I am the "identity" that is woman?

That's such a poor definition i feel genuine embarrassment for you.

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 01/03/2022 17:09

MrsWooster · 01/03/2022 17:09

"Woman" is a socially constructed gender identity. Usually comes with feminine terms, names, pronouns. There, that's the definition, there's even an automated bot on Twitter to provide this information on demand. But it's totally that you've "never heard the definition", and not that you deliberately plug your ears whenever you do

Well, that’s me convinced. I’m hanging up my GC apron as we speak.

Lekisa658 · 01/03/2022 17:09

Anyway, I've wasted more than enough of time here, and honestly, I'm surprised my account lasted as long as it has.

So I'll be dropping off.

Helleofabore · 01/03/2022 17:11

Oh.... well... we have left many of your posts up for the sake of the lurkers.

MrsWooster · 01/03/2022 17:12

Sorry, EmbarrassingHadrosaurus, are you trying to imply the world DOESN’T exist on the back of a turtle (and 🐘 s)??

Helleofabore · 01/03/2022 17:13

And don't worry. Your 'dropping off' is another textbook tactic.

We know it well.

When asked to back up extremist assertions, extremist trans rights activists resort to copious personal attacks and then they 'drop off'.

Thanks again for the live demonstration.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/03/2022 17:13

So to sum up:

Biological sex isn't a thing, it's a complete accident why people are assigned man and woman genders at birth by those transphobic doctors and nurses

The mysterious emergence of the woman "gender" is definitely not based on biological sex, because that doesn't exist, and it's not based on stereotypes because they don't exist either, it just emerged into being from nothing

Percentages are irrelevant to anything, who cares that practically all sex crime is committed by those small gamete people and mostly on large gamete people

SamphiretheStickerist · 01/03/2022 17:13

Yeah. Cos we don't report much. We ask MNHQ to leave posts and posters up, so the debate can be seen in all.of its glory.

We don't deplatform anyone unless they get truly unpleasant.

In fact we are so accommodating that one prolific TRA combatant used to report their own posts, so they could go to Twitter and cry about how much they were being silenced.

And we know they did this because they told us so. I am not guessing.

DomesticatedZombie · 01/03/2022 17:13

Did we get a definition of woman, at all?

Lovelyricepudding · 01/03/2022 17:14

Yes these posters never realise what a service they are offering in allowing the paucity of their arguments to be made visible to lurkers.

RVN123 · 01/03/2022 17:14

""Excluding trans women is discrimination. It's really that simple. "Sex-based" discrimination is discrimination, even if you agree with it.""".

So excluding transwomen from a cervical smear is discrimination? Not inviting them to a mammogram is discrimination? Not giving them the HPV vaccine at school is discriminating? These are all things that are sex based, and yet none of them will ever be relevant to transwomen.
Why is that?

As for "woman" being a "socially constructed gender identity" - I'm sure all the women on a post natal ward are in awe of their socially constructed bodies which have just produced a child with their socially constructed uterus made from an egg with their socially constructed ovaries.
Next time I have period pain I will inform my socially constructed uterus to stop cramping.

Woman is a biological definition. It's a statement of fact. It's not opt-in or opt-out.
Woman has meant adult human female since language was invented. A few vocal men are really not going to change it.
I know that's very upsetting for some delicate people to hear, but it doesn't make it less true.

We always say that TRAs don't see women as human, beings, people. Now we have proof.

Did we get a definition of woman, at all?

Yeah, but no... Some Not said summink summink figment of imagination, inner sense, feelings summink summink

What do you think? Grin

You did, and you've opted to pretend you didn't. As per usual.

@Ereshkigalangcleg

Did we get a definition of woman, at all?

What do you think? Grin

Yeah, it's this apparently. It means "identity".

"Woman" is a socially constructed gender identity. Usually comes with feminine terms, names, pronouns. There, that's the definition

RVN123 · 01/03/2022 17:18

@Lekisa658

Anyway, I've wasted more than enough of time here, and honestly, I'm surprised my account lasted as long as it has.

fuck, my eyes, what have you done, Waitwhat?!

Lekisa658 · 01/03/2022 17:18

@bishophaha

We always say that TRAs don't see women as human, beings, people. Now we have proof.
Actually it's more that we see everyone as human beings first, regardless of sex or gender, whereas you only see everyone through the lens of whether they're "male" or "female".
Helleofabore · 01/03/2022 17:18

Oh. And thank you for providing us the impetus to post many reasoned posts to refute the false analogies, the false comparisons, the misinformation, the clear illogic of your points.

Because that too has made the thread quite rich in the way those ridiculous claims can be rebutted. And a huge portion of them could be backed up with evidence too. Something you showed just how much you lacked.

So. Thanks for that.

DomesticatedZombie · 01/03/2022 17:19

"Woman" is a socially constructed gender identity. Usually comes with feminine terms, names, pronouns. There, that's the definition

Oh. That's bollocks, though.

DomesticatedZombie · 01/03/2022 17:19

It's 'just a word', I presume, is the argument?
