Rachel Johnson was in the Big Brother house with India Willoughby and witnessed first hand that person's aggressive behaviour. I think RJ tried to be a peace maker and be sympathetic. Having said that, some of her recent guests on her"Difficult Women" series have been unabashedly GC - Julie Burchill and Lionel Shriver (disclaimer, I haven't listened to these, but at least she's letting them speak).

No. I'm saying Rachel's personal, up close experience of an aggressive male demanding complete capitulation from the women around him that they buy into his fantasy; coupled with Rachel's subsequent public and unambiguous rejection of this very vocal and aggressive proponent of the worst excesses of trans activism; coupled with her podcast featuring gender critical women, makes Rachel someone unlikely to be attacking women with the Terf Island slur.

No, they were split because TRAs have had MN running scared. That's why this is the most moderated, most watched board on the site with its own set of language restrictions. If you don't know what a woman is, you can't name your oppression or the issues that pertain to you as a woman. GC feminism is not for shits and giggles. It's not even about transpeople per se. It's about defending women's rights against an onslaught of male entitlement seeking to roll us back several decades to when women had no voices.

If you don't like what we talk about, why are you here? Go to the other board and have the discussions you want. Why are you trying to silence those of us having a discussion in this place?
