Judgement will be here on Monday, finally. It's been about 9 months since the appeal.

This was a good article by Sarah Phillimore if anyone needs a recap.

Does anyone know why the malicious letter writer is not being prosecuted? The police obviously know their identity.

I thought the Honey Badger rang a bell. Definitely one of the golfer’s gang!

(From Roll on Friday when the golfer was going after Glinner. The comments are a good read.)

Harry was on GB News about 1130 this morning. Very clear about the stupidity of a non crime hate incident. He can't name Mrs B as he could go to prison.

EMotion · 21/12/2021 12:43

Why can’t he name Mrs B - what would he go to prison for?

GiantKitten · 21/12/2021 13:23

This protection of the identity of “Mrs B” seems to have parallels in the way Maya was attacked for inadvertently saying “he”, once, about the person with a beard who was free for months to tweet hideous stuff about women with impunity Hmm

Why do they get a free pass? Which higher-ups, precisely, are making these decisions?

Oh god, why do they always claim to know someone 'ard?

If it isn't UDF it's hells angels or Curtis Warren

RoyalCorgi · 21/12/2021 13:42

I don't understand why Mrs B can't be named either.

I think the person should be named.
RoyalCorgi · 21/12/2021 14:49

Presumably the reason my comment was deleted was because it came close to speculating on Honey Badger's identity. But people can read the Roll on Friday post and comments and draw their own conclusions. (Is that OK?)

I'm still not clear about whether Mrs B and Honey Badger are the same person.

Or just for the name (too easily searched for)? MN Towers is always keen to avoid SM scraps if poss!
GiantKitten · 21/12/2021 14:56

I’m not clear either btw but Harry seems to be

AlfonsoTheUnrepentant · 21/12/2021 14:57

Unsavoury people.

Manderleyagain · 21/12/2021 19:22

The faircop twitter account gave the impression that they were the same person.

'Hate Crime Guidance Ruling' really? Hmm Is that a manipulative ploy? There is no crime involved!!!!

RoyalCorgi · 26/12/2021 10:20

Rod Liddle talks about the Harry Miller ruling and the Scouts' apology to Maya in today's Sunday Times. Sorry, no share token:

www.thetimes.co.uk/article/rejoice-right-on-lunacy-common-sense-harry-miller-comment-vlm7xwtbt

Here's what he says about Maya (copyright prevents me from quoting the whole thing):

'More good news? In the same week that Mr Miller received his vindication, the Scout Association apologised to an assistant scout leader, Maya Forstater, after a two-year investigation into her, er, appalling behaviour. Ms Forstater’s crime was to have referred to a heavily bearded scout leader as “he” when this chap identified — not wholly convincingly, in my opinion — as “non-binary”. Forstater was charged, absurdly, with bringing the Scouting movement into disrepute, but the heirs to the decidedly odd, masturbation-obsessed Lord Baden-Powell have now conceded they got it completely wrong, and Forstater has been exonerated.'
