She does use that term. And she has pointed out that she has trans friends. But in this tweet she is referring to rapists. Are you wanting her to respect rapists and be polite to them?!

Even if they only started identifying as trans during the trial in which they were being accused as rape? Or while at prison?

On the one hand it’s ‘no true trans woman would commit xyz crime’, on the other hand it’s ‘you must call anyone who identifies as a woman a woman’. JKR went for the option that didn’t violate either of these completely contradictory rules.

@lucascriesalot oh I do try. I work in a role which makes being GC tricky but I have pushed that and I am full of admiration for JKR. She's bloody marvellous.

There’s nothing polite about being raped and then having to address your rapist as a female in court, or for the statistics on rape to now include females, even though by virtue of the legal definition of rape, only males can carry out this crime. Why do you think rapists deserve any respect, off anyone, ever? You’ve really got a twisted sense of right and wrong haven’t you. The ONLY person deserving of ANY respect is the person who’s been raped - be it a female or a male. Rapists deserve one thing only: to be sent to a male prison for a very very very long time.

So.... Women are "people who menstruate", "people with a cervix", "bodies with vaginas", "pregnant people", "birthing people", so as to be inclusive to trans people right?
We've lost the word for ourselves because the trans lobby demanded it.

As soon as the shoe is on the other foot and transwomen rapists are called "penised people" this is disrespectful.
