How has this still got legs?

I watched this in horror and disbelief. Not just the content, but the sheer inability of most of those students to even construct a sentence or articulate a clear thought process. Brainwashing it is and it is terrifying.

It’s because there’s nothing clear about gender ideology. I think it’s difficult to support this shit if you fully understand it and are not an MRA, so the defenders who are decent people are necessarily a bit incoherent.

Uncertainty also increases fear of saying something wrong. The proper paid up TRAs have played a blinder- create an ideology that’s difficult to understand/ seems unnecessarily complicated, paint it as being kind and inclusive, and threaten anyone who puts a foot out of line. This technique certainly discourages further research.

But is the manner of speech all due to brainwashing? Many cult members can speak confidently albeit in cliches or according to a script. They sound like ventriloquist dummies. Is it the fact that deep down, they don't believe what they are saying that makes them speak through their teeth?

TheMarzipanDildo · 06/12/2021 19:05

Speaking in cliches certainly helps prevent wrongspeech.

None of them seem particularly convicted to what they are saying. They all seem to be a bit clueless about it all. They are getting hopelessly mixed up between gender stereotyping and actual gender.

One even says it's just a trend at one point then tries to back track.

I agree with PP's: these young people are terrified of saying the wrong thing and deep down they don't really believe any of it.

What a shitty position for young people to be in.
