I don't have Sky either. I hope it turns up on C4.

Rhannion · 07/12/2021 17:32

Found it and watching now !
At least we can see the programme unlike mumsnet deleted the thread about the 14 women murdered in Canada 32 years ago.

CuntAmongstThePigeons · 07/12/2021 18:27

Oh I've still not been able to see this!!!!

RepentBirthingPersonFucker · 07/12/2021 18:36

I can't watch. I have sky but don't pay them enough
I can only watch with an upgrade

RepentBirthingPersonFucker · 07/12/2021 18:41

RepentBirthingPersonFucker · 07/12/2021 18:41

TofuDelights · 07/12/2021 18:48

Showing as Unavailable on All4 for me but have set to record when it is shown on Wednesday 15th at 02:40am.

RepentBirthingPersonFucker · 07/12/2021 18:58

I found it on my phone and cast to TV
It isn't showing available on TV for some reason just on the phone app

beastlyslumber · 07/12/2021 20:21

Still can't see it!!!

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 07/12/2021 21:06

That was very good, thanks to people who kept us posted on availability.
We found it via the search function, don’t know if that helps anyone.

43leftfeet · 07/12/2021 23:04

I watched it on my phone.

Disappointed it was pretty superficial. Glad it's making people aware of the issues but it was all pretty surface level, no depth to it.

43leftfeet · 07/12/2021 23:04

Via the Channel 4 app, I meant to say

BreadInCaptivity · 07/12/2021 23:06

It's showing on the All4 app on my phone now.

RepentBirthingPersonFucker · 07/12/2021 23:08

I thought it was just me. I was disappointed too. It was very much both sides are as bad as each other and ignored where the real abuse is coming from

43leftfeet · 07/12/2021 23:08

Oh and also, it mentioned "both sides" or the gender debate being toxic / threatening / violent (I forget the exact words) which was lazy journalism, incorrect and fucking infuriating.

I’m curious to see it again now and see if it’s been edited, or cut, like I suggested in an earlier post. From what I remember the only “from both sides” argument was one single line of narration from Richard Bacon following a short interview with a transgender woman, and something along the same lines said by that same transgender woman. It wasn’t said any more than that (from what I remember)

GAHgamel · 08/12/2021 08:32

Finally up on the Channel 4 website

SpindlesWinterWhorl · 08/12/2021 10:45

@SoniaFouler, that would be very interesting if you would watch again and compare.

ArabellaScott · 08/12/2021 11:32

thanks, GAH.

GreenWhiteViolet · 08/12/2021 11:38

I watched it last night with someone who has heard my views on the subject but still thinks it's a minority of people making a fuss and not a serious concern. What stood out to him most was the protester yelling 'Die, die, die!' outside the conference hall full of women.

I thought it was interesting that when the TW was asked about an academic needing security on campus, the TW assumed it was because she was afraid someone would approach her and make a comment - and dismissed this, because it happens to TW all the time.

Men are afraid women will laugh at them.
Women are afraid men will kill them.

DoubleTweenQueen · 08/12/2021 12:10

@GreenWhiteViolet Show him what’s happening in Canada - look at Billboard Chris on Twitter, for example.

PinaGrigio · 08/12/2021 13:27

@TofuDelights - it was still showing as 'unavailable' for me on the All4 catch-up on our TV this morning but when I clicked on it, it did actually play ok. Hope you can get access to it now
prudencepuffin · 08/12/2021 16:16

Just watched on All4. On the whole I thought fairly presented, decent time given to Jo Phoenix to present her very reasonable views and also to Rosa Freedman. I thought an opportunity was missed to perhaps mention (when the subject of prison came up), that actually women HAVE been harmed by TWs in female prisons.
Ashleigh: "You dont get to define my rights", needed to be asked the classic question: "What rights do you not have that others do?"
But the lunatic screaming protestors certainly made a point which "side" is doing the threatening.

Babysharkdoodoodood · 08/12/2021 16:39

Bugger. Can't set it to recons my virgin box is knackered.
