The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that from 10 May 2018 to 23 November 2019, Dr Harrop inappropriately used his Twitter account to post tweets that were offensive and/or insulting and/or inappropriate in nature and some of which were intended to intimidate.

JFC he shared the full dossier with Vice, the tweets, the witness statements, their details, who the fuck does he think he is? Does he not understand rules of anonymity? He has just doxxed the witnesses to the press, he should be in fucking jail.

I think we can safely add that, along with the behavioural obligations required for his profession, to the list of things he doesn’t understand…

I'm wondering whether Harrop has decided that his medical career is so compromised that he's done this to make himself a martyr and to use that status to move onto full-time campaigning and handing out puberty blocking drugs to children.

I was wondering that. There are so many similarities between HW and Harrop I thought perhaps they might make it a joint venture.

VICE World News was sent all of the material being discussed in the tribunal, including the full dossier of allegations, witness statements, and documents defending the doctor.

Data Protection?! Is this not actually a criminal offence?

I pondered that idea, but I don't think that's the case.

I believe he's so bought in to the owenesque concept of "right side of history" he can't grasp that he's done anything wrong and that ultimately people including the panel will agree that morally his cause (and thus the means) was just.

You can see from his evidence that he's very much playing the card of moral crusader.

GMC reports vice media article. More investigation to done. Chair confirms the hearing is not using names to identify people but are aware some witnesses have gone public themselves. (Not said in a dismissive way) The hearing continues.

Another possibility is that AH thought he was priming Ben Hunte to write an article and get it published once the hearing was concluded and BH, not known for having the very best professional standards, got excited over having a scoop and rushed out the article immediately.

I think we're looking at a narcissistic moron who thinks of himself as a kind of trans martyr Andrew Wakefield? Being struck off for being malignantly wrong hasn't hurt his financial prospects at all..

The implied threat in the Vice disclaimer that witnesses are "currently" being kept anonymous is very unsettling.

I wonder what Harrop's barrister is thinking right now.

I'm quite surprised they are continuing today. I wonder if it's because they don't want a break in his evidence? I am also at how he thought that article would help him.

Is he mates with the fox murderer? He has form for leaking confidential court documents.

I actually feel sick that he could have passed that info to Vice. If Harrop is not struck off after this I’m never going to be able to trust the medical profession with personal info again
