“We’re very aware that sex, of course, is not binary. It’s a continuum. The sectors overlap. And so the solutions are not essentially going to be binary.”

@Fukuraptor

Are natal females allowed to set new world records or might that indicate they have a disproportionate advantage against other competitors in an all female race?

There doesn't seem to be any indication that only males can have disproportionate advantage. What a bloody mess.

I don't think you've understood. If a natal woman set a new world record she might upset a transwoman. She needs to hold herself back a little in order to make sure she doesn't hurt anyone's feelings. Women should be improving their ability to be kind after all.

Anyway, not sure why they even want to compete in sports when there is washing up to be done.

I for one am really pleased that we now have no women's sports but do have a separate category of sports for men who identify differently to other men. It was important for equality in men's societies to make that happen.
