Well I guess it’s a logical tactic.
PumpkinSpiceWoman or their fellow posters are probably going to steer clear of focusing the discussion on the actions of the male in a women’s sport, and would prefer to focus the discussions on the actions of the women opponents.
Because obviously the issue here is the choices women make in deciding to fight a male, and not the choices the male makes in deciding to fight women, nor the obvious physical advantage, nor the threat to safety or life
.
And I guess it’s an obvious tactic because to come out and say “I support the right of a male ex special forces soldier to choke a woman for entertainment” is a bit too transparent, even for our regulars.
