LGB Alliance is trending on twitter after 1) fake claims of secret meetings with Government (since retracted) and 2) a BBC News article (about OfComs withdrawal from SW) comparing LGB Alliance to Stonewall www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-58336116

I have a direct debit set up for LGBA as well. They are the only group that respects my sexual orientation and represents me.

So, obviously this will attract a few 'Look, a squirrel!' type posts, but I'd like to say that as a lesbian, mother, survivor of conversion therapy and centre left feminist, I am very grateful there is a charity that is dedicated to the rights of LGB people and the issues which affect us.

What a great letter. It accurately calls out the arrogance, the overreach and the inbuilt homophobia evident in the challenge.
I've also changed my Amazon charity to support the LGB Alliance. Gloriously it was some tra prat on twatter who alerted me to it.

I was delighted with the LGB Alliance was formed and gladly support them with a monthly direct debit. In fact I doubled the monthly sum a while back, inspired by trolls who turned up here to warn us of the dreadful peril of supporting an organisation formed to protect the rights of same sex oriented people. We homosexual people need to look out for each other in this strange new homophobic world that tries to shame us with accusations of being genital fetishists because our orientation is sex based.

I also very much appreciate lesbianandgaynews.com To the extent of having bought a year's membership and just given a contribution to their latest appeal. It's so refreshing to have a trustworthy online news source that covers lesbian gay and bisexual issues.
