Can't see this elsewhere, apologies if I'm duplicating. I'll stick it on the Scottish action thread too.
Is anyone off here going, or involved?

Everything she said 👆

NonnyMouse1337 · 04/09/2021 23:37

Their opinion and their condemnation mean nothing to me because the pain and suffering of women and girls mean nothing to them.

Absolutely! I have no fucks left to give these types either.

littlbrowndog · 05/09/2021 09:50

Did you see the vid of the person raging at a woman. Screeching witch witch. The police had to stop him

All over Twitter

Ran straight up to her screeching in her face witch witch

Here for those who haven’t seen it

But yeh you just can’t tell biological sex….

WouldBeGood · 05/09/2021 10:26

That video is quite scary. I’d be upset if that happened to me.

littlbrowndog · 05/09/2021 10:32

Sums it up

Women's Rights Demo, Scottish Parliament 11am 2nd Sept
Theeyeballsinthesky · 05/09/2021 10:32

I’m baffled how anyone could look at that and think “yeh women are the bad guys here”

terryleather · 05/09/2021 10:34

Jeezus! That video!

We had quite an aggressive protestor next to us and the community coppers had to tell him to be less confrontational.

At one point he was talking about my pal and said "this lady".

I said "This lady? How do you know she's a lady? How do you know how she fucking identifies"

He said "Forgoodness sake, this is ridiculous!!!!"

And there we fucking have it, the whole utter steaming pile of nonsense horseshit that it is in one sentence.

WouldBeGood · 05/09/2021 10:42

@terryleather the irony

Helleofabore · 05/09/2021 11:42

Don’t worry, we will be inundated soon with posters telling us the the woman having witch literally spat at her by a male (I make no assumptions about their gender because they haven’t told me) fully deserved it because she was wearing clothes that looked to have violet amongst the colours, because she was at a protest organised to amplify the needs of women on the basis of sex above those of males, she is a [slur, or a dehumanised phrase] or because [insert weak reason here].

And, of course, there will also be the censorious ‘both sides are as bad as each other’, or ‘what do you expect when you are being used by right wing [evangelicals, fascists, political parties, donkeys and aliens]’. Ok, the facetious alien reference was probably off the planet in hyperbole Grin.

And lastly, we can expect to be told it never happened, that the person spitting witch is not actually x, that the woman said something about something outrageously horrific about wanting women’s rights just before the video started meaning she fully deserved it etc.

It has become so boringly familiar that even bingo has become mundane.

What we don’t see is ownership of the action and posters stating that that person spitting witch in the face of someone, particularly during a pandemic, was completely unacceptable and that should never happen again.

guinnessguzzler · 05/09/2021 11:55

And it doesn't even constitute a hate crime. It is quite distressing to watch though. As a society we are seriously letting down everyone involved and we're not even allowed to say it.

Helleofabore · 05/09/2021 12:06

Just been reading the quote tweets where this video has played over and over automatically as I scrolled. It is so distressing to view, I hope the woman being attacked is ok.

What strikes me everytime is that this is person who would most likely insist on using female single sex spaces if they are trans. Imagine if a child or a woman did something this person perceived as hateful.

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 05/09/2021 13:32

Another film of this person going to the demo. They are talking about "evil terfs" who "aren't going to know what's coming to them" also saying that women are "demonic". Very scary.

Yes it’s upsetting, however we have a right to be upset and when they go low, we must go high and keep the heid as we say in Scotland.
littlbrowndog · 05/09/2021 14:07

This person sounds and acts dangerously

Frightening

Demonic women

Why aren’t the police Scotland doing something

If it was a woman doing this to trans people it would be a hate crime in Scotland

WouldBeGood · 05/09/2021 14:39

Yes, @Rhannion I’m just a bit of a wuss about stuff like this. I admire the woman they were yelling at.

It shows the level of debate and those who are attracted to that cause.

Helleofabore · 05/09/2021 14:42

Maybe @CatherinaJTV could answer whether they are going to still be supporting Greens, LibDems and labour knowing they ‘allied’ with John hein.

As I said, who is left for you to vote for in your purity spiral?

Absolutely no excuse for their behaviour but I don't think that person is at all well and potentially very dangerous

ScreamingMeMe · 05/09/2021 17:24

Literally screaming "Witch!" in a woman’s face. Mask off or what?

ScreamingMeMe · 05/09/2021 17:29

Apparently the woman with the megaphone kicked Helen Steel and trampled on another woman's feet.

Dashinghaberdashery · 05/09/2021 17:45

Mentally ill, aggressive towards women, and have ideas of women being demonic and witches. A very dangerous mixture. Hope the police is aware of this person.

Waitwhat23 · 05/09/2021 18:03

The visceral hatred in that person's face certainly tells a story, doesn't it?

A person quoted in the Glinner substack linked by a pp says this -

'Trans activism is a massive experiment in what happens when you accommodate serious mental issues as perfectly within societal norms. Trans activism can justify - or at least mitigate - behaviour like screaming “Witch” in a woman’s face because they’ve essentially adopted a social model of trans rights: the behaviour exhibited by any given trans person is communication in service of being listened to, and fellow trans activists will see the fact that it’s not them being screamed at as supporting the idea that if only society wasn’t so transphobic, distressed people wouldn’t find themselves forced to communicate in this way. And that is what provides a safe space for male people to be publicly abusive to women.'

Pure and simple. This has given a socially acceptable voice to people who absolutely despise women. Things that would have been unthinkable to do and say even a decade ago are now lauded.

There is another video of the same, which shows someone else appearing to direct this persons actions.
