I would just like to share some further material about the Metanoia Institute
It should come as a surprise to nobody that Mentanoia promotes uncritical beliefs about dissociative identity disorder (DID) to its students. As I have demonstrated many times here, the quacks, charlatans and useful idiots promoting DID are not infrequently involved in promoting the extreme end of the TRA movement.

Firstly a Metanoia CPD accredited workshop featuring trainers who work with the appalling Clinic for Dissociative Studies. The trainers are Marion Schoenfield a therapist who apparently has an interest in gender and sexuality issues and Abby Seltzer a psychiatrist who, terrifyingly, works as an expert witness in court proceedings.

A further significant link between Metanoia and the Clinic for Dissociative Studies can be found in the below webpage. It is a page listing the qualifications and professional experiences of the counsellor / psychotherapist Dr Lesley McGown who states that Metanoia is her "principal training organisation” and claims to have a “particular expertise in working with dissociative disorders” .
Of particular interest is the following text: I am a Consultant Psychotherapist with the London Clinic for Dissociative Studies. I am also an external examiner for Metanoia Institute.

It is thus unsurprising that Metanoia graduates go on to have careers in mental heath where they promote conspiracy theories about ritual abuse and mind control to vulnerable people, as evidenced in this UKCP page regarding Metanoia graduate Laura McCarthy who states: To reflection of my work with child abuse survivors, I have been accepted as a member of the Ritual Abuse Information Network and Support along with Positive Outcomes for Dissociative Survivors.

For readers unfamiliar with the Clinic for Dissociative Studies it was founded by Valerie Sinason, one of the quacks who abused the late Carol Felstead before Carol's mysterious, early death.

One of Sinason's associates mentioned in the above article, the notorious anti-abortion campaigner (abortions are sacrifices to Satan apparently) Wilfred Wong, was recently convicted of kidnapping a terrified child from his step-mother at knifepoint and, along with accomplices, bundling the poor child into a car.
According to recent press reports, Wong threatened the child's stepmother by holding a knife to her face, snatched the child and then slashed the step-mother's car tyres before kidnapping the child and, thankfully, eventually being stopped by armed police following a car chase.
Reporting restrictions have only recently been lifted so there are many alarming news reports about this dangerous man Wilfred Wong that have only recently been available
