We are here, DM commenter. Coralled away in a sub-section of the feminism sub-section on Mumsnet, with Special Rules that we must try and follow or we'll be deleted. There are some words we are not allowed to use, so we can try and explain the issues but it is sometimes hard to do so.
Or we are being deleted on Twitter.
Or hiding from death threats.
Or trying to keep our jobs.
Or trying to protect our children. Google 'Marion Millar' if you need any further information on why 'women's groups' now operate largely anonymously.
The large, shiny, govt-funded 'women's groups' have managed so far to avoid, ignore, become 'inclusive' or sit on the fence. So they say nothing or they recite their catechism like good girls.
On the plus side, grassroots women's groups are springing up all the time. Cobbled together out of string, chalk, ribbons, fiver donations and chatrooms, for the most part:
Fair Play for Women
A Woman's Place UK
Keep Prisons Single Sex
Sex Matters
Transgender Trend
LGB Alliance
Safe Schools Alliance
Women Speak Scotland
Make More Noise
Filia
Nordic Model Now
