Always does, yet there are plenty of threads in AIBU that could be moved into others and they stay. It won't get seen as much in the Feminism section

I suppose the OPs 2nd post may have been interpreted as her wanting it moved but I infer she didn't actually report the thread and request it.

This thread was correctly configured as a poll, which can only be done on AIBU at the moment, not as a debate. So moving it makes little sense.

Presumably the child told the police he was assaulted by a man, so how come this person was arrested and charged if this person is a woman? That’s some serious misgendering by the Canadian police force.

Not sure where the bold came from there.

And on top of everything else, the police are currently appealing for witnesses and for other victims/victims' families to come forward.

Suppose you heard about it on the radio? Or you're blind and use a screenreader?

I agree ErrolTheDragon. I would think any topic should stay in AIBU if it is there for the poll. That is the point of the place after all. To see a vote from a broad range of opinions. To catch those who might have a passing interest in the particular question being polled but wouldn’t likely visit the particular board. I have looked at AIBU’s on a wide variety of topics but apart from an occasional trip to AIBU I rarely leave FWR, sorry I mean naughty step.

I notice that the (currently) 6% who believe that this is a woman don’t have the bottle to come on here and argue their point.

I voted YABU last night as, in the photo the OP has posted, I can't see an Adam's apple! I've seen a closer up photo now and can see the facial hair etc which I still can't see on the original post as the photo is too small

No I didn't want it to be moved and I didn’t report it and request it, but I panicked that it would be deleted because I put it in the wrong place (especially as I have been vocal about being unhappy about the naughty corner) and I wanted it to stand. I’m a bit clearer headed this morning after a night's sleep.

I, personally, would have no issue with a separate recording of crime for transwomen and transmen. The issue is, of course, that this will be recorded as a crime committed by a woman. (Disclaimer: If found guilty, of course. I am not suggesting guilt.)

Maybe you should report, explain that 2nd post may have been misinterpreted and ask they move it back?
Although tbh the vote was pretty clear and unlikely to significantly change.

A person with a womb who has given birth cannot be described as a woman.

A person with a penis who sexually assaults people can be described as a woman.
