Who ever did it needs a long hard look in the mirror and to put the bottle down. Crikey I have never seen so many new user names with the same old stick to bring to the woman beating party. Tin hats on ladies.

Which is why they attempt to change legislation and policies before everyone wakes up to what is truly happening, and why they need male crimes being recorded and reported as being committed by women.

Much harder to reverse bad laws than prevent them, especially when females are no longer permitted to advocate solely for themselves as a separate sex and political class to males or even speak against their oppressors.

Yes, indeed. I'm very envious of England; you are actually having the Self ID debate on a national scale and still have the law behind you. Politicians are being forced to address this, even if they don't like it. The momentum is growing.

Meanwhile here in Ireland, Self ID was sneakily brought in on the back of a much more popular piece of legislation a few years ago. We are now having to back-peddle, and it's an uphill battle because politicians will not speak about it (I and others have emailed many and gotten no response), and the media is pretty much censoring themselves.

So vast swathes of the population don't really know what's going on (and would be horrified if they knew), which is exactly what the TRAs want. They know that voters on the whole will be against this so it needs smoke and mirrors.

Our lovely government is now talking about lowing the age of consent for gender self ID to 16 and removing parental consent after that Angry. Trust me, it seems to only get worse.

Please don't be us. Keep fighting this nonsense.

UnMumsnetty hug.

Ireland is in for an utter shit storm for the next few years. For many reasons.

Seems to be one rule for GC and one rule for TRA. MN clearly want us in the corner, and seem to subscribe to the notion that women should be seen and not heard.

Happy to read that I'm not the only one who is thinking this.

@Whatsnewpussyhat

745 posts later and the OP conveniently never returned. Must've got enough screenshots.
I think they name changed - you can see the new ID about halfway down the first page. They managed to stick around until 16:29.
Whatsnewpussyhat · 10/07/2021 17:48

Thanks. What a pointless name change!
Just skimmed the thread. The op's posts were still the same old trope.

Ekofisk · 10/07/2021 17:55

Indeed - but helpful that it’s stayed in AIBU where it’ll reach a wider audience.

TurquoiseBaubles · 10/07/2021 19:08

Yes, why was it left in aibu? Was it not reported because the monitors know who posted it and don't report one of their own? It's very confusing.

I do think it must have been highlighted early on to non-posters off board though - the vote split is 85:15 whereas threads posted by mumsnetters usually come out about 95:5 these days, before being moved and losing the polls Hmm

Flamglimglubberty · 10/07/2021 21:03

@TurquoiseBaubles I reported it, MN replied that there's no set rules about which posts go into S&G and on review this one could stay on AIBU

On the one hand, it's great that a wider audience gets exposed to this dumb fuckery. On the other hand, it's clear that only GC (ie wrong think) posts will be moved to S&G.
