The responsibility for stabbing people lies with the person who went armed with a knife (clear premeditation!) to a protest and used it to stab someone.

I saw a video of a woman shouting at the Spa receptionists. Regardless what your stance is on the matter is, California law does say establishments can't discriminate and that includes against transpeople.

The staff who work at these places have to follow the law and they can't change the law, and IMO they don't deserve to be shouted at and given abuse.

For what it's worth, the transwoman who used the spa did inform the staff beforehand they were trans, and when they were using the spa the staff did inform any female customers as they entered that there was a transwoman currently using the spa.

Odd. I saw the video too. And the women were being assertive, not rude or abusive. The staff member was noncommittal and polite.

A fully dressed, hadn't been there for long man chose to explain why the women were in the wrong, he made up his own facts to suit his ideology.

1. It is rude of children to stare at genitalia
2. It never happened it is all a hoax
3. the witness is unreliable and set this up to “catch” out a transwoman

and now

4. customers were informed in advance…

These cannot all be true at the same time.

Also turns out there were 5 in total who were injured in the resulting protests (which were deemed unlawful by police who dispersed them). This includes 2 victims being stabbed by anti-trans protestors.
