Thank you @Glinner for your latest Substack post on Joss Prior issuing a twitter threat against various GC twitter users. The list includes Sally Challen's son, who has never had any skin in this game. A man who has had to campaign to have his abused mother released from prison now has to deal with a death threat.

Not Prior, but some lawyer also posted something vile to the recently widowed Dr Louise Moody. I won't repeat it here. It is set out in the link. The little coward appears to have deleted his twitter page.

Like Glinner, I am sick the the "both sides" equivalence drawn by people like that Fawcett Society woman. Women on the GC side, and men like Glinner, Arty, Simon Fanshawe, do not behave in any way like this. And the furore if we did would be incredible.

Why do they get away with it?

Can one casually suggest poisoning a member of the House of Lords like that with no come uppance?

Prior appears to have shared a list compiled by a feminist without bothering to research who was on it.

As to how there’s been no ban, goodness knows. Guess the usual male abuser’s defence “I was only joking” is likely in play here. And given that the senior bods at Twitter were friends with WaxMyBalls, presumably they’re not that fussy about endorsing such people.

I know, Pandora . Helen Stanisland can get banned for saying me can't be women, and Megan Murphy can get banned for "misgendering" a person of questionable morality, who uses both male and female names in their twitter profile. And yet, Prior gets away with issuing death threats and misgendering GC women like this:

Well Ted I assume that some visitors from Twitter would be very infuriated if this thread was left up now that they have resumed their regular visits (as per tweets to that affect).

Prior must use a version of terf-blocker as I can't read their tweets - so can't report them. But please anyone who isn't blocked, please, report this person. Repeatedly. Their twitter feed is violent & threatens women.

I see Helleofabore . Perhaps if Joss isn't robust enough to stand by what Joss posts on Twitter, and doesn't want it discussed in wider society, then Joss should refrain from posting threatening words and misgendering people on a worldwide platform.

Yes Ted. I would expect anyone who posts accusing posts on social media to either provide legitimate back up of their assertions or delete their posts.

I would expect really, as a supposedly fully grown adult that they would be self-aware enough not to actually post such things in the first place.

He didn’t. He commented that “Grace” Lavery was grooming. Not the same thing at all, and not poisonous filth either but plain truth

Was Joss Prior one of the people who said vile things about Magdalen Berns' death?

I saw a lot of kindness from so-called-bigots after a Scottish trans woman died. Leeze Lawrence was involved in Scottish politics and was campaigning to have hair removal on the NHS for trans women, died suddenly at 38. The GC women I follow on twitter all expressed sadness that someone would die so young and sympathy for those who cared for Leeze.

The difference struck me.

JP is a big fan of monitoring fwr content and may be around despite being banned under a main account and sock accounts.

JP was booted from twitter for a short time very recently but then reinstated.
