I find his constant claims to be on the "right side of history" incredibly sanctimonious.

After all they are just the same as people born as women so what’s the issue? Asking only one type of woman to do it is pretty transphobic and exclusionary, it could certainly trigger some women.

Whenever his name comes up in a thread I always look for the nastiest comments and wonder if it’s his mum. He is such a child.

I agree with a lot of what Owen Jones says…but not on this issue (and a few others also).

I’ve really liked reading some of his pieces, but it a shame that he seems to be one of those people who doesn’t so much engage with rational discussion as belittle and shout down anyone with an opposing view.

I much prefer reading his article to seeing what comment he makes and replies on social media.

I spotted this on Twitter in the past few days and screenshot it because I thought it summed up the issue perfectly.
Someone says they oppose women's rights being removed (no mention of trans) and OJ immediately jumps in with the link to that article and claims they're in a radicalised online bubble.
It doesn't get more blatant than that.
Mention women's rights and OJ is going to be there telling you why you're wrong to bring them up. Detestable little man.

That article he's quoting is full of misrepresentation and the significant omissions pretty much count as lies. So he's a bullshitting misogynist.

I'm pretty sure we're only a couple of years from him doing a reverse ferret. I imagine he'll take the 'I'd have noticed it earlier if it weren't for all those bad people trying to draw my attention to it" stance.
