Does Bunbury have an orchestra?

(Also, can just anyone start a Bunbury thread or do you have to be a Weighty Feminist? Apologies if so, I will retreat tugging my forelock.)

Someone mentioned the cornet. Can I bagsy the kettle drum?

No no, I've learned the error of my excluding ways. All triangles are welcome. Sorry if you didn't hear me say this earlier of course, the sound is (putting it politely) somewhat overpowering.

My DD plays the violin brilliantly if you take minors? I play the violin really badly but I promise to play very softly and stop as soon as DD gives me a “look”....

Would that give us three violins? I think someone was identifying as a violinist?

Are there guitars in Orchestras?

In Station 11 the Travelling Symphony has a guitar section. One of the named characters is the fifth or sixth guitar.

I've got a penny whistle. Also a didgeridoo, made out of cardboard tubes when DD was in primary which is surprisingly pleasing (though I think I'd need to stand on a box to play it).

I learned the violin as a kid, I suspect if I tried it now it would be pretty much indistinguishable from a squeaky chicken.

DDog had one of those but managed to desqueak it. I think he's got a squeaky hedgehog somewhere but in his old age seems fonder of plaintive singing.

Is that directed at me and my olive branches (oooh ponders, can you get a tune out of olive branches?) ? Because I am in no way anti triangularist, I wanted to be a triangularist but I was excluded. So I did the only thing I could do and offer to play any number of other instruments. Yeah, sure, I can’t actually play any of them, but so what, if you don’t let me join you’ll be hurting my feelings. You vipers.

Endoplasmic (sorry for the detailed question, but I have viola playing DS and I lived through DD doing music theory).

When a violist identifies as a violinist, do you also assume that the alto clef really identifies as the treble clef or do you transpose?
