I will be wearing my lesbian pride badge right next to my trans pride badge for the whole week in all public spaces.

Stereotypes is where most of this nonsensical, biology-denying, experience-appropriating, word salad shite started. And they are what is being perpetuated, every day, all over twitter and the like.

But you have stated in many, many threads that the NHS states that 'woman is a gender term' and have used the NHS digital manual to back up your claim. Is the NHS wrong then?

Some people only have grey heart emojis where others have coherent rational arguments.

That's fine. And like I've said this whole time, people are allowed to do and think what they want.

Unless they're trans widows who want to tell their stories on the internet, in which case you believe thy should be hounded and banned,which is why you invited your followers to try and get me banned from Twitter.

I want to be a man. I mean I don't have any gender dysphoria and I'm actually quite fond of my lady garden, but that's not required nowadays. (I like all my body too, though I don't like the way people stare at it and the fact I have to pluck all the hairs off or people will disapprove, and all the clothes which fit it are uncomfortable and expensive, so on.)

But I want to be able to be paid better, to speak my mind without social censure, to walk about at night without risk of assault. I identify as someone bold, decisive and outspoken, who likes to argue and go to work, and likes male things, like earning money, science, reading the Financial Times, being the breadwinner, driving, doing the household finances, and not deferring to other people's opinions and not having to wear makeup and that kind of thing. I also wouldn't mind being referred to with he/his pronouns just to see what it's like. I'm really delighted to know that all these things make me a man! I look forward to the extra 20% of my salary arriving as soon as I make it known to HR.

I think inclusivity only applies to the right kind of women. Not the uppity sort.

Why would a kind and empathetic person like Asugarr attack trans widows, ie women in abusive relationships with their male partners? It doesn't make any sense.

The US-based Chronicle of Higher Education went through a period in the late 2000s where they proposed using 'hu/hus' as a gender neutral pronoun. It didn't take off

Asugarr frames this as offensive to widows, as in people whose partner has died.

It's an odd one given the enthusiastic use of the term 'deadname'.

Lots of widows, myself included, have said we don't find it offensive at all, but off trots Asugarr to orchestrate a pile on regardless.

Perhaps Asugarr should read some of the harrowing stories on the Trans Widows Voices site, then she might understand why it's important to these women to reclaim their lives and experiences:

And since I identity as you, I have a right to anything that's legally yours, because I literally am you and to deny me my rights or insist on a difference between us is hurtful and invalidating.

We cause inconvenient cognitive dissonance to thoughtless virtue signallers, it's easier to try and shut us up than address the reasons for the dissonance.
