There are sites where you can check whether a site is down for everyone or it's just your problem, which can be comforting when you discover it really is the site and not your machine.

I use downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ but there are others.

Yup. There's been an escalation in angry people on FWR recently.

As an aside, if anyone can afford Premium and isn't currently on it, might be worth signing up? The perks are shit, but speaking for myself this is the best place to discuss feminist issues, and it costs MN a lot letting us do it.
