Which brands are too woke for my custom?

Following the Innocent doubling down on we protect everyone from discrimination apart from women bs I was wondering who else I should be avoiding and why.

So far my list is
Innocent (woke Twitter pandering)
Coca cola (subsidiary of innocent)
Flora (withdrew advertising from Mumsnet)
Oatly (guardian as)

Any others I should know of?
Thanks 😊

I think a good sense brands list would be a good idea.
Is Morrisons supermarket ok?
FFS marmite. Lots of letters to write.

GWR (for that marvellous reply on their Twitter feed which effectively said "No, we are not kink-shaming you by having a porn filter on our in-train wifi which prevents you surfing the web for sex toys while on a long journey. We simply have customers with children under 18 who may be walking up the aisle of the train and do not wish to see that over your shoulder" - only he said it much more elegantly and succinctly.)

Wasn’t that in response to a complaint by someone who is in a position of public influence? Don’t they work for a political party or as an adviser or something?

What’s Natra Care done?
Whatwouldscullydo · 02/02/2021 14:52

The usual "people who menstruate" and "menstruator" stuff. And a petition to rename shopping aisles as something other than feminine hygiene due to the implications that periods are dirty and that only women have them.

ThatIsNotMyUsername · 02/02/2021 15:23

T*s

Whatwouldscullydo · 02/02/2021 15:28

Most ironic thing is many of these companies donate products to girls in third world countries to keep them.in school.

How do they know who to give them too Confused

Tanith · 02/02/2021 16:07

I'd like to see the justification, as the Op has done, rather than simply naming firms.

SquirrelFan · 02/02/2021 16:12

Well, JK Rowling better start writing faster, because I'm running out of books!

ThatIsNotMyUsername · 02/02/2021 16:13

Me too.

I agree with this. Links not necessary but summary would be useful. Smile
