I was well disposed towards Starmer compared to Corbyn and I don't believe he believes in this for a second. But he needs to have more control over his party machine - this is atrocious
The battle lines are hardening in the Labour party, between those who see Kier Starmer as the way forward, and those on the far left/momentum type members who absolutely hate his guts.
The irony is that this group also contains many old school socialists for whom a materialist analysis of society actually meant something. The thing is, many of these members ( mostly older males) just don't consider women's issues as being primary. They are always subsidiary to the great working class struggle - which basically means men, and women as wives, mothers and daughters of men.
