What is "Girl Mode"

A non question for actual women. What is "girl mode"?
To me it's a very youth orientated fetishy definition which feels a bit like My Little Pony.

I stopped calling myself a girl at the point I hit around 20 I think. I dont think of myself as a girl, I think of myself as a woman, especially once I had children.

I think it's odd to describe yourself as a girl if you are a middle aged man. I'm trying to imagine an older woman describing herself as being in "boy mode" and all I can think of is Jimmy Krankee.

Oh god, I did not know about girl mode but I have an insufferable employee who has described himself to me as-and these are actual quotes ‘a man with a female brain’ and ‘a male lesbian’ as he likes the colour pink and ‘girly’ things. I would describe him as a sexist twat who is scared of women. But for the sake of harmony he just gets and eye roll and ‘oh, right’

Well women’s running U.K. twitter account seems to know... oh yes they did...

Do you remember when Pepe Le Pew's girlfriend looked just like Pepe but with lipstick?

TinselAngel · 14/01/2021 10:31

Oh I've just realised I'm mixing my cartoons up, Pepe Le Pew's girlfriend was a cat disguised as a skunk, and it was Bugs Bunny who would wear lipstick to disguise himself as a woman. Soz.

He's in girl mode, of course he wouldn't do anything untoward, lewd, or violent!

Rather contrasts with the post I just saw on facebook, directed at women with ptsd, informing us that if we were raped by a transwoman we weren't raped by a man but by a woman with a strap on, because women rape too.

They tell us this all the bloody time, that women rape too. Which means a male in 'girl mode' is not automatically lovely and safe.

I just saw that. Presumably those trans widows who had consensual sex with our husbands which led to children, were impregnated with strap ons too.

Truly a miracle, Tinsel. I'm amazed scientists aren't queueing up to investigate this 'virgin birth'!

Well for the girls and I know a few because I have a teen girl. Being girly appears to be about working hard at school complaining bitterly to your Mum all the while, ordering customised T-shirts off RedBubble and making your Mum pay for them, wearing hijab and arguing with teachers about whether they're school colours or not - dd has lots of Muslim friends - eating large quantities of toast and buying vast amounts of stationery at Smiggle or WHSmith.

Fuck off Eddie et al.

Izzard’s talked before about liking makeup, nail varnish & heels being evidence of ‘girl genes’. hmm. Since I lost interest in all three of those in my early 20s, I must have ‘boy genes’.

Me too, Empress. The weird thing is, I seem to have menstruated and then gone through a female menopause despite being a boy. Doctors and scientists are baffled ...

Oh fuck, that’s a good point. All these years I’ve assumed that I bleed for a week every month because I’m menstruating. Maybe I actually need to see a doctor.
