Someone turned up at 1am to ask us to justify why we were being feminists when some surveys said women didn't want feminism, and to tell us off for our presumption for speaking for a group that didn't want it. (As if we aren't women ourselves?)

Oh was he back again? The midnight misogynist he can’t help it, he always has to post the “facts” about why most women don’t want feminism. He never has any new material, but to be honest in these uncertain times, there’s comfort in repetition.

Just back from a GC sit-in in the veg isle in Tescos. Making sure Xmas shoppers know it takes male + female = asparagus. Did I miss anything?

I have a kiwi vine in my garden, but I never get any kiwis because you need a male and a female. I’ve told it over and over again that it’s a bio essentialist, it could make baby kiwis if it just tried a bit harder, I’ve shamed it all over Twitter and reported it to West Yorkshire police. Still no kiwis

Well, holly is the obvious plant to raise awareness of biological discrimination at this time of year. It's only the females which get hacked about and sold as throwaway decoration.

SophocIestheFox Strangely, my kiwi vine is loaded by end of summer. I am in the process of chopping it out. It is a right thug of a plant.

They are thugs! It tried to strangle a pear tree.

I saw a magnificent, fruit laden kiwi vine in Sorrento, in a public park of all places. I can well believe they are thug plants. It had wrapped itself around everything in tendril’s reach, which made for some welcome midday shade.
