Looks like they're gunning for gay men now. Anything other than complete agreement is no good.

Readers here will be used to this sort of insanity:

I wonder if it will wake up those who have not seen it before?

@EmpressWitchDoesntBurn

The CPS guidance for schools included some nonsense about lesbians enjoying giving / receiving fellatio. Hmm
This is so homophobic when you consider it. But because it’s labelled as trans-exclusive, it’s seen as really progressive to say that same-sex attracted women enjoy blowjobs. Where same-sex relationships are taught about in school, I would definitely favour more emphasis on lesbian relationships, as it seems that most of the focus is on gay men (what a surprise). Gay men aren’t the ones called transphobes for not loving ‘male vagina’. No, that would be the hateful lesbians who need to learn to embrace ‘girldick’ and blowjobs.
RealityNotEssentialism · 29/11/2020 09:56

Sorry that should say trans-inclusive rather than trans-exclusive.

EmpressWitchDoesntBurn · 29/11/2020 11:20

There were helpful diagrams to make it clear that the blowjobs involved cock, not vulva.

Winesalot · 29/11/2020 11:56

It is no surprise at all to read that some lesbians ‘enjoying’ giving or receiving fellatio. Just read what a male poster thought was appropriate last night to ‘destigmatise’ anal sex for gay males ....

@MoonPomme

If any teacher shows my son a strap on at school I'll call the police. I learnt about strap ons from reading tipping the velvet at 17. Being confronted with one in a room full of 34 teenagers would have been traumatic, and grooming.
I didn't suggest that toys needed to be brought into lessons, but that information on hygience/sexual health could be important.

Is that too much? or do you think just mentioning a sex toy that is predominantly used by lesbians in RSE should be a police matter?

No wonder LGB people are horrified by a lot of what they see in gender critical circles.

Winesalot · 29/11/2020 13:03

I think your suggestion on how to destigmatise gay anal sex should be widely shared in that case.

jj1968 · 29/11/2020 13:03

Oh no you misunderstand me. Not by men.

Of course, that's what this is all about isn't it. You think this is all a big trans conspiracy. That trans people have somehow brainwashed the largely LGB people running inclusive RSE organisations into providing information on how LGB people have sex as a dastardly secret plot to undermine women's bounderies and encourage support for trans women using women's toilets.

Do you not think that the repeated attempts to slur LGB people who support sticking with the T as brainwashed woke idiots is one reason why your movement has become so despised in the vast majority of LGBT circles?

CaraDuneRedux · 29/11/2020 13:04

NewlyGranny: I have a memory from somewhere of a woman, not a teacher, perhaps a nurse? coming from a session with secondary age girls - KS4 - completely rattled because she had told the girls sex was supposed to be pleasurable for them too, not just for males, and it was complete news to them. Some of them had wept.

I remember an article in the Graun about this (back when their women's pages carried actual women's issues rather than dick pandering dressed up as faux feminism). Terrifying.

My constant message to DS now he's secondary age is "wait till you both feel comfortable, only have sex when you actually like each other, and make sure both of you are enjoying it and are really comfortable."

jj1968 · 29/11/2020 13:05

@Winesalot

And what suggestion was that? Do you think it's correct that the way a lot of gay and bisexual men have sex should be stigmatised in RSE classes?
Winesalot · 29/11/2020 13:07

Read your posts jj. You wrote them last night, I am sure you can find them.

By the way, have you now read the resources and toolkits objected to by the group you label as hateful.

What are your understanding of safeguarding?

My movement? Trans Widows?
MoonPomme · 29/11/2020 13:08

Oh yes completely horrifying that we dont want our kids beeing spoken to about sex toys by adults in a room of 30 people.
Give me strength.
You can teach about hygiene without mentioning strap ons ffs.
Sex toys come with instructions on how to clean them and im sure most people would have the common sense to know if they've had something up their bum or vagina it will need a wipe afterwards.

PotholeParadies · 29/11/2020 13:09

Ah here we go again.

Obsessing over lesbians' sex lives in a characteristically very male-centred fashion.

Done a survey of how much real lesbians use strap-ons have you, or is this the 'lesbian porn' videos making another appearance in the thread again?

You sound like one of those creepy men who asks "so how do you tell which one is the man then?" Believe it or not, lesbian women's private lives don't revolve around simulating heterosexuality. Why are men so obsessed with talking about lesbians and sex toys?

Do you not realise that women have fingers and tongues and have been having relationships with each other before silicone was invented?

I'm not under any obligation to read through loads of documents, most of which you have to pay for, because you demand it. What happened to Boyz was not just because of the association with the LGB Alliance but an association with the broader GC movement, which as this thread demonstrates has a pretty hostile view towards LGB inclusive RSE. My comments on this thread have been in response to the various opinions on this thread.

Datun · 29/11/2020 13:11

When you say gay and bisexual men, do you mean two female individuals with vulvas, a male and a female individual, or two male individuals?

MoonPomme · 29/11/2020 13:12

"By the way, have you now read the resources and toolkits objected to by the group you label as hateful."
Im gonna go out on a limb here and take a guess that the answer is still no.

Datun · 29/11/2020 13:13

'Everyone hates you'.

Not really an argument.

Winesalot · 29/11/2020 13:14

Jj. The resources are not behind any pay wall. You have continued to prove that you are uninformed about the very specific issue you are commenting on, again....

Blibbyblobby · 29/11/2020 13:15

a sex toy that is predominantly used by lesbians

Is this actually true? I'm not a lesbian so I don't know, but the impression I have from friends over the years is that strap-ons and dildos are not a particularly prevalent part of lesbian sex, at least no more than they are for the other sexualities.

I assumed the emphasis on strap-ons was a male projection coming from porn.

Of course, I think that hygeine information about not sharing toys due to the risk of STDs and cleaning them properly is important for all young people, not just LGB. What I found curious was the absolute shock horror that someone that might mention a toy that was most commonly used by lesbains. No-one seemed to have a problem with them showing how to put a condom on a dildo, but mention a strap on, or anal sex, or seemingly any non heterosexual/procreative sexual practices and some people seem to think its a police matter. I think that's very revealing about some poster's underlying attitudes towards LGB sexualities.

Well in men’s heads, women have to have a penis present when they have sex. If there is no human penis, of course they have to use a silicone version of one. Because how could they possibly have sex without there being penetration?
MoonPomme · 29/11/2020 13:18

I was wondering the same thing, im not a lesbian but I've slept with a woman once.
No toys needed.
No idea what my lesbian friends get up to in the privacy of their own bedrooms.

jj1968 · 29/11/2020 13:18

True though. Just look the response to Boyz if you want an example.
Ereshkigalangcleg · 29/11/2020 13:19

which as this thread demonstrates has a pretty hostile view towards LGB inclusive RSE.

No, it doesn't demonstrate this. It demonstrates that on a mostly female parenting site, women care about child safeguarding. What you assert sounds like a broad sweeping negative generalisation of a larger group, which is against Mumsnet talk guidelines.
