Looks like they're gunning for gay men now. Anything other than complete agreement is no good.

Readers here will be used to this sort of insanity:

I wonder if it will wake up those who have not seen it before?

Naughty naughty quagaars, some women were teenage boys surely?

Oh FFS lol

Quaagars · 29/11/2020 00:07

Can't be naffed with anything other than Oh FFS tbh lol

Winesalot · 29/11/2020 00:08

Ok quaagars

Do you think

Those things are exceedingly rare and all human sexual activity carries a degree of risk of both injury and disease’ Also considering Reality’s really excellent point about how inexperienced teens may not clean properly before moving from anal penetration to piv.

Do you think declaring the effects for females being ‘exceedingly’ rare is reflecting the female experience for the current teenage girls? And is helpful?

If the message given out to young people is that anal sex is highly dangerous, no woman would ever want to do it and its likely to cause all manner of injuries, but it's okay for the gays then that is likely to make young gay men feel stigmatised and also its just not true.? And this?

Spending one's whole Saturday advocating for more anal sex teaching in schools is an odd way to spend your weekend

Grin

don't forget the sex toys Tinsel. it's imperative that children are taught about them too

MoonPomme · 29/11/2020 00:11

Lol. Yea its all funny aint it.
Except these are the rules of the game now.
What you should have said is 'most women were teenage girls'
Otherwise its exclusionary.
Dont like having you're language policed in a ridiculous and nonsensical way??
Welcome to the fucking club.

I was assuming it was up the bum sex toys that were being referred to, TBH.
BernardBlackMissesLangCleg · 29/11/2020 00:14

of course a key feature of heterosexual sex is that it can result in conceiving a baby

you know, what with male and female actually meaning something

hence a lot of the urgency around informing children about sex a bit before they go through puberty

it's about keeping them safe, not about helping them to select the most arousing sex toys

Arousing hygienic sex toys Bernard

I've just returned to this thread and looked at the title to remind myself what it was about.

It started with discussion about Boyz's magazine's grovelling apology to the trans lobby after promoting a webinar run by the LGB Alliance, yet there have now been pages upon pages of discussions about why it's important to teach children about anal sex, reminding us that some women enjoy anal sex and minimising the risks to women of anal sex.

Just an observation.

Winesalot · 29/11/2020 00:17

Just an observation. a just observation!

MoonPomme · 29/11/2020 00:17

If any teacher shows my son a strap on at school I'll call the police.
I learnt about strap ons from reading tipping the velvet at 17.
Being confronted with one in a room full of 34 teenagers would have been traumatic, and grooming.

I'm going to steal that "ridiculous and nonsensical" quote. I'll credit you. Smile
BernardBlackMissesLangCleg · 29/11/2020 00:22

mmm, I, and I'm guessing many / most of the other women here was perfectly able to educate myself about sex toys, with the assistance of a willing boyfriend or two

they were never mentioned by teachers at the 90s comp I attended. strangely my own sexual desire was an adequate guide in this area

Winesalot · 29/11/2020 00:22

It started with discussion about Boyz's magazine's grovelling apology to the trans lobby after promoting a webinar run by the LGB Alliance,

This is all a deflection though from my request for which LGBT educational resources (not just sex Ed) that LGBA objected to, did the posters think were wrongly objected to and on what grounds.

This discussion has still not produced any such answers but has repeatedly displayed that the posters declaring the group hateful for their objections have not reviewed those resources. It seems their information is purely derived from tweets from others.

It has been eye opening.

RealityNotEssentialism · 29/11/2020 00:25

Imagine being a teacher and being told that this was now a part of your job. I’d rather pull my fingernails out than show a class of teens how to use a strap-on (i don’t even want to know if I’d be expected to put it on or whether I could just talk them through it).

Look, there is nothing wrong with learning as you go along. You don’t have to be told absolutely everything in school. You can still figure out that you really enjoy using strap-ons as an adult even if your teacher didn’t give you a detailed explanation in year 10. Honestly.

Nobody's said anything different?
Just why does heterosexual sex take preference and why can't we learn about non heterosexual sex too?

Quaagars · 29/11/2020 01:07

mmm, I, and I'm guessing many / most of the other women here was perfectly able to educate myself about sex toys, with the assistance of a willing boyfriend or two
Same. and guessing you're straight too?

they were never mentioned by teachers at the 90s comp I attended. strangely my own sexual desire was an adequate guide in this area

If you're not straight though why should not be taught about other ways (ie non heterosexual sex) at high school, think that's all what was being said

Quaagars · 29/11/2020 01:11

You don’t have to be told absolutely everything in school. You can still figure out that you really enjoy using strap-ons as an adult even if your teacher didn’t give you a detailed explanation in year 10. Honestly

True, but why can we not teach that in a non heterosexual way? Like PIV is?
I think that's what is being argued against?
So, if you are homosexual, (whether it be gay or lesbian) you know that you are not abnormal?

Impatiens · 29/11/2020 01:21

Just why does heterosexual sex take preference and why can't we learn about non heterosexual sex too?

Because it isn't necessary. Not sure why you find that complicated.

Quaagars · 29/11/2020 01:27

What, non heterosexual sex isn't necessary? Sorry if I've got you wrong

OK, good response Confused
