Langcleg is vindicated

Mumsnet thought that Langcleg was wrong to state safeguarding regarding children who thought they were trans. When langcleg argued for our kids Mumsnet didn’t like it. Mumsnet caved to the men. Instead of champion safeguarding, Mumsnet got rid of an expertise on this. Well, Langcleg was right and the Tavistock judicial review shows this.
Langcleg kept me sane in a world where others tried to gaslight me for my refusal to believe that my child was born in the wrong body.
Shame on you Mumsnet for cancelling the very people who help us parents. The voice of sanity. More importantly the voice of support. Do you really think langcleg did this for her own gain? No. She did this to protect us all. Gonna report this post now to bring it to the attention of the monitors.
Langcleg if you are still reading these posts I thank you so much for you help. I wish you were here now to comment on the Tavistock review and feel vindicated.

Monitors = lurkers who like to report posts. Reporting your own post won't highlight it to them.
Moderators are not monitors - that was one of the points of potential misunderstanding that potentially contributed to Lang's banning!

I agree, it's terrible that she was banned - but MN were in a difficult position. That they have kept this space for us to talk (even if we have to talk in riddles) is really appreciated because it must have been really tough for MN to balance our voices against the onslaught of TRAs wanting to shut us down. But I really wish these women who were banned for warning that exactly this would happen would be allowed back. I miss their wisdom.

She did not bully anyone. If you think that, it is possibly because your argument wasn’t strong enough and she showed you up.

Wasn't aware of that poster. If they highlighted the vulnerability of children being endangered or exploited by activists or their cheerleaders, for whatever motives, then good for them.

Unsurprisingly, drawing attention to such a situation will of course attract the ire of those with less than noble intentions or those unconcerned with such damage to young people's lives .

If you use the facilities provided by a website then you abide by their rules. Simples. It’s pretty much the modus operandi. Some posters come across like children sulkily rebelling against their parents and tbh they need to realise they’re only here because mumsnet allows them to be.

It would give the wrong message IMO to reinstate a previously banned poster, especially when their cronies are still pushing their luck and demanding apologies etc.
