Just that. I am looking at Twitter and here and just so bloody happy!

It's been a shit year, lockdown has just restarted, lots of scary things still in the world, but for a brief moment, let's sit back and enjoy what amazing (extra)ordinary women have achieved.

So many incredible women, and the odd men to thank for being here. I propose the first toast, to the inimitable JK Rowling, without whose sunlight on the attacks on women's rights, I very much doubt that the recent turnaround in events would have happened.

I feel so proud of everything women have done to protect our rights and protect childen. This has been a long, long, long fight and the losses have been personal and significant for many women. I know that it's not over yet, but I'm feeling good. So for now cheers to all of you!

I'm really feeling properly positive about everything for the first time in ages. More and more sunlight and more and more dominoes falling. The court cases coming up will be the next bridge to cross.

Thank you everyone here, thank you JK, thank you to all the amazing people and organisations standing up for women's rights. I'll raise my to you all.

It’s been a great week. I thank all those women and men on twitter who go above and beyond AND lovely mumsnet for bringing it to the attention of so many of us who had no clue.
I’m back in to proper feminism because of this issue.
