I've met Posie a few times, she's lovely. The world needs lots more Posies.

Be more like Posie I say.

Sent her a tenner for the next poster.Grin

Just bought 3 pens that identify as quills and sent a donation to Lumos charity. Already sent my letters from noone in the post and hit my email drafts ready for the morning. Also sent JK s birthday card! www.transgendertrend.com/happy-birthday-jkrowling/

Destinysdaughter · 30/07/2020 23:50

Posie knew exactly what she was doing when she paid for that billboard. She knew it would get taken down and attract more publicity to the cause. Just look at the comments under the DM article!

How is expressing admiration and affection for a popular children's author 'political' and calling for 'support of a particular viewpoint policy or action'?

It's thought crime, innit.

They don't like what Posie was thinking when she bought the ad.

Datun · 31/07/2020 00:04

Posie is, undoubtedly very problematic.

First of all she is very angry. No one wants to see that.

Secondly, she's verbal about it. The nerve.

Not only that, she's actually unafraid. Where the fuck does she get off with that?!

But she then commits the ultimate sin.

By refusing to be impotent.

Women are allowed to be angry, verbal and confident, as long as they can do fuck all with it.

Unfortunately Posie is a powerful, effective woman.

She's been banned from just about everywhere. Taken to task, doxxed, threatened, and been the subject of the most disgusting tirade I've ever read.

And, now, with one little ad in a railway station, she's managed to get her opinions splashed across all of mainstream media.

It doesn't get more problematic.

OldCrone · 31/07/2020 00:26

@Cismyfatarse

Is Network Rail an organisation that would have to respond to a Freedom of Information request?
Yes. You can make a request here: www.whatdotheyknow.com/body/network_rail
OldCrone · 31/07/2020 00:27

Re FOIs to Network Rail, I'm interested in seeing their response to this one:

The impact of Network Rail being a Stonewall Diversity Champion on people who do not identify as being transgender

S White was on The Times Comments saying he/she would put in an FOI to Network Rail, so well done him/her

womanaf · 31/07/2020 01:10

That FOI request is great. We should send that to just about every organisation in the land.

BoreOfWhabylon · 31/07/2020 01:51

Well done S White!

We should all Tweet/post it to Facebook. It deserves the widest possible audience

Lamahaha · 31/07/2020 03:59

I think she and Posie were maybe living lived at different sides of the track in the same locality and Posie seemed to care a lot for her. (I also seem to remember her baking a cake to bring to Riven when David Cameron was the then PM and visited her to discuss DLA)

This makes me love her all the more. A brash woman with a huge heart: that gets my vote.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 31/07/2020 06:13

All power to S White's elbow! Cracking FOI request.

StandUpStraight · 31/07/2020 08:08

Oh nice one, S White! The responses to that will be veerrry interesting.

SirSamuelVimesBlackboardMonito · 31/07/2020 08:55

Excellent FOI

I wonder where else it has been spotted.

highame · 31/07/2020 09:12

@SheWhoMustNotBeHeard do you know if this is correct, that Mumsnet banned something?
Following bans from Twitter, Facebook and ‘Mumsnet’, she explained on her podcast that Standing for Women’s approach is to ‘take back the public square’.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 31/07/2020 09:33

I believe Posie is banned from Mumsnet because she expressed strongly worded objections to young Muslim girls wearing the headscarf. Some have interpreted this as Islamophobic. I wouldn't, because I agree with her on that specific point, but I didn't see the post in question.

Newwayofthinking · 31/07/2020 10:32

Just bought a I ❤JK Rowling t-shirt

bellabelly · 31/07/2020 10:37

Ooh, where from, @Newwayofthinking? I'd love to get one if you have a link.

It would have been interesting to see what Riven would have thought of that.
