Green Party currently having an election for Deputy Leader. Hustings over the weekend. Somebody asked 'What is a woman?' Here are the answers. Jawdropping.

However, good news! Andrea Carey Fuller, a candidate who was not at the hustings, has now clarified what she would have said - Adult Human Female. twitter.com/hullfair/status/1285193309959475200?s=20

It's a huge relief to find that at least one Green knows what a woman is but if she got elected she'd have her work cut out for her trying to change the internal culture in the Green Party. Good luck to her.

It means they know the only politically acceptable answer to the question 'what is a woman' is 'an adult human male who wishes you to say so, and definitely not under any circumstances someone who is female because the male finds them way too threatening'.

They haven't got the guts to own it. They have however got the guts to make it clear to women voters that they are lower than the dust on their shoes and of much less importance. Largely because upset, angry women are much, much less scary.

If they can't do science when it comes to human biology, how can we trust them with the science relating to environmental issues? They are cowards who betray the foundations of the green party.

They should be ashamed.

I voted for the green party all my life, but I genuinely belive now that if climate science conflicted with one of their ideological positions, they would choose the ideology. If you don't have the guts and the intellectual honesty to stand up for science in the face of religion and belief, then you don't have what it takes to be a climate activist. They're also pro "sex work is real work". It's clear they've bought the whole ideological package. As pp said, they should be ashamed.

They're acting like it's completely unreasonable to ask a political party a question about an issue affecting 51% of the population and where they stand on it. Bunch of muppets, I'm cringing for them.

I hope they realise how badly they've fucked up. On that twitter thread in the OP, Cleo Lake blocked someone for pressing her on the issue. Way to win people over 👍

That's exactly what went through my mind when I read this. Shortly followed by "we all know what a woman is, we all came out of one" and then followed again by "Can't find an acceptable definition far a woman and yet we all know which half of the human race are supposed to clean up and wipe bums".

All alternatives to 'an adult female human being' where the 'female' has a biological interpretation are completely unverifiable by outsiders. So a woman is anyone who says that he/she/the is a woman, really, and 'woman' is a term we cannot define at all. 'Man,' however, still seems to mean biologically male. That difference is a sign of clear sexism in the trans movement.

When gender is turned into a pure choice and biological sex erased, any grounds for sex-based segregation are removed, the concept of 'women's' rights becomes pointless, and ultimately fighting sex-based oppression will be extremely hard as it will have to be done without any word that clearly defines the affected group.

That group now also includes people who will not allow themselves to be called by any term which describes their biological sex. So now it is 'people' who are the victims of sex-based oppression. Sexism itself is being turned into a gender-neutral concept.

I have to say, those responses are up there with Jo Swinson's classic "we know what we are" response!

I've been passed some information from a friend who's in the Green Party.

The Greens membership base are mostly either GC or neutral. The trans-obsessed activists are few but powerful and vicious. They will be up for election next month or the month after and there is every chance that they will lose their positions if the right people get voted in. I think we need to help them!

Green Party member here! The reality of the situation is that the GPEW membership no more believes in the gender clap-trap forced down our throats by our beloved leaders, that they believe that zebras are bras.

Please, please get the message out that we are not all hypnotised by gender nonsense. We will benefit more from support from everyone than brick-bats that we really do not need. Save those for the nutbags who are pushing the GPEW to destruction to progress their own political careers.
