It’s one of the reasons I am so upset with girl guides - woke points in the uk do not translate into an international organization where sex has even more lived consequences for members. You cannot blindly claim to stand for the rights of women and girls on a global sex based scale and then sack adult members for having concerns about becoming a mixed sex organization by stealth. It really is a lovely sentiment.

I'd love to see her try to explain the disconnect, or any of the rest of the people insisting that men be allowed into women's toilets and changing rooms in the UK, US, etc. Bet they can't do it without being outrageously racist.

Women and girls require sex segregated spaces in order for experience dignified, positive lives, which is why building them in places where they don't currently exist is a UN development goal.

Although, not clear for how much longer, given that the UN are unable to explain what a women is, and therefore why this would be a goal.
