A few questions for feminists

1. Why is feminism so small in number? They get plenty of airtime but it isn't catching on. Women know about it so why no support?

1. Feminists want equality of opportunity and equality of outcome but how can you have both when it's impossible? You want to give women choice, but then want exactly 50% of men and women in each industry. This can only be achieved by forcing women (and men) to do jobs they don't want to or choose to do. Explain?

1. Why do you think the earnings difference is due to gender when time and time again it has been shown it has nothing or very little to do with it. Why feminists not take into account the 40 or so factors which affect earnings, such as men are more likely to work longer hours, do more overtime, take less holidays, work more dangerous jobs, willing to relocate, willing to commute further, etc etc?

I turned to this thread thinking it was a serious discussion. Quickly realised it was just a bit of tedious trolling. But as usual on Mumsnet a good comment caught my eye so I stayed, and read, and laughed, and thought "Oh that's a good point", etc. Always worth a read.

Okay, please explain why care work is not deemed as necessary to be paid accordingly, given that the majority of carers are female.
Please explain why even now there are females earning less than their counterparts in the same jobs just because men are more willing to ask for pay rises- fairness says it should be same pay for all doing the same job.
Please explain why women are still in many countries treated as owned by males.
Please explain why women are the ones expected to the greater amount of child rearing.
Etc etc ad infinitum.
Bit boring this tbh.

Also, I don’t buy almond meal, I grind whole almonds in the food processor. I don’t even take the skins off, it makes a more rustic cake, but the payoff is the almond meal tastes fresher. I’m sure you could use hazelnuts as well.

Anyway, yes excellent point about grid girls. They did lose their jobs because of women. Women losing employment because of other women on baseless claims. Another contradiction, feminists claim female models or modelling is okay, yet don't want to see grid girls. Where does the hypocrisy end?
