Drag Queen (Flowjob again!) is fuming on twitter after being removed from the ladies toilets at Glasgow’s Grovenor Casino.

I’m so sick of this.

I assume they were seen going in/had complaints about them being in and the bouncer was asked to go and sort them out. There already was a bloke in the loos - what's another one?

jadefinch · 06/03/2020 13:01

He uses a women's bathroom cos he feels safe there - but also tweets about his desire for women to be physically attacked. Maybe they also have a right to feel safe?

Barracker · 06/03/2020 13:02

Perhaps he was a giant bouncer, if he could see over the cubicle. Maybe the cubicles are
really short. Perhaps he jumped. Or stood on the toilet next door? Perhaps he had already ensured there were no actual women present before he entered to have a chat with his fellow male.
Or wait! Perhaps the bouncer was actually really a lady of significant heft who has just been grossly misgendered by a self-identified drag queen, in public? After all, the drag queen has commented that feminine women were not, in his opinion, easily found in Clydebank.

So many questions.

ErrolTheDragon · 06/03/2020 13:04

'Would like to pee in a bathroom I feel safe in'? That's probably why the bouncer went in, because the people for whom that loo was intended ie women want a bathroom they feel safe in.
Hmm

Datun · 06/03/2020 13:06

I'm wondering why they are 'so sick of this'.

How many times has it happened for goodness sake!

Datun · 06/03/2020 13:06

Including this time, if I'm honest

Winesalot · 06/03/2020 13:08

If the bouncer did look over the top, it depends. In this case it was just flow doing their business.

What is the procedure for checking that no one is in trouble and was being hurt while not being able to call out behind a closed cubicle?

eurochick · 06/03/2020 13:09

Isn't a drag queen necessarily a man?

How tf can you have a drag queen identifying as a woman?

scotsheather · 06/03/2020 13:11

Peering over doesn't sound right it could have been a woman for all he knew at that point. Not that 2 wrongs make a right.

DidoLamenting · 06/03/2020 13:12

The Clydebank comment is charming isn't it?

Stealhsquirrelnutkin · 06/03/2020 13:13

Or checking to see if a yet another spy camera was being installed?

OnlyTheTitOfTheLangBerg · 06/03/2020 13:14

Oh FFS at the usual TRA apologists getting their panties in a bunch at a bouncer doing his job. Hmm

How do you think bouncers react to any complaint of potentially inappropriate activity in a toilet cubicle? They go in and they have a quick look to see if it's true, so they know whether they need to remove the person(s) or not.

Winesalot · 06/03/2020 13:15

Or should only female security people check no one is being attacked silently behind a closed cubicle door?

Perhaps someone involved in security policy and procedure could advise?

WotchaTalkinBoutWillis · 06/03/2020 13:15

If they were checking to "see if anything was installed" as you put it, surely you'd wait until she came out rather than look over at someone mid pee?!

Barracker · 06/03/2020 13:18

I'd love to hear India "Drag queens freak me out" Willoughby's opinion on a drag queen who also identifies as a woman. Using female toilets. But then, Willoughby "let that penetrate" now identifies as a 'ciswoman', so perhaps FlowJob needs to identify as that too for real sparks to fly.

In any case, those of us who are actually female are bemused by the fact that we appear to exist as nothing more than inanimate warm-blooded signposts for certain members of the opposite sex to know what facilities to enter.

CtrlU · 06/03/2020 13:21

FFS

TRANS WOMEN AND DRAG QUEENS ARE NOT WOMEN. REGARDLESS OF HOW THEY FEEL. REGARDLESS OF HOW THEY IDENTIFY AS - THEY ARE MEN. PERIOD !

STOP MAKING UNNECESSARY DRAMAS. IF YOU WANT A BATHROOM TO FEEL SAFE - REQUEST A TRANS/ DRAG RESTROOM; BUT DONT KEEP TRYING TO MAKE THE WORLD OUT TO BE A BAD PLACE BECAUSE MOST PEOOLE CALL A SPADE A SPADE (or in this case; A man, a man)

AND NO IM NOT SORRY. I SAID WHAT I SAID.

AbsintheFriends · 06/03/2020 13:22

I think that the peering over the cubicle is justified in this situation (if it happened 🤔)

Obviously we don't know the circumstances... whether there were women in there who would have indicated which cubicle he'd gone into, or whether the place was empty and there was only one closed door, so the bouncer wanted to check he hadn't pushed a woman in there and had a hand over her mouth.

If you're a bloke in a specifically women only space, you can't bleat about having your rights to privacy and dignity upheld.

AnotherNightWatering · 06/03/2020 13:23

How come this particular FWR thread is listed in "trending", but not eg the Helen Webberley thread?

Lordfrontpaw · 06/03/2020 13:23

Willoughby... now identifies as a 'ciswoman', so perhaps

What what what now? What TV drama show was this?

TheMagiciansMewTwo · 06/03/2020 13:28

I wonder if it even happened. iirc Flo has been caught lying about previous incidents. They seem to be trying to make themselves a 'cause celebre'.
It will also be interesting to see how the casino responds. Unless the clientele of the Grosvenor has changed a lot then their demographic wouldn't be happy with Flo in the toilets.

EthelMayFergus · 06/03/2020 13:28

What's the problem with a male bouncer seeing another guy pee? Urinals are designed for this, men are used to seeing and being seen peeing (that's a lot of double e's).

Datun · 06/03/2020 13:29

I'm wondering why they are 'so sick of this'.

Oh sorry Op, it's you who are sick of this, not flowjob.

A lot seems to happen to this particular person. Weren't they on the top of a bus that was empty, when an annoying child sat right next to them (who they then wanted to punch for some reason?).

YgritteSnow · 06/03/2020 13:35

Well done that bouncer! In my experience most of them prefer to be called Door Men though.

Thymelord · 06/03/2020 13:36

How has the "peering over a cubicle" part of this story become a thing? Isn't it highly likely that a woman or women in the toilets pointed to said cubicle and said "He is in there" - to which the bouncer peered over?

nauticant · 06/03/2020 13:37

Isn't a drag queen necessarily a man?

How tf can you have a drag queen identifying as a woman?

Unfortunately you are behind the times. The BBC arranged for a woman to visit the OED to lobby to change the definition of drag queen to be more inclusive to also include women. The OED said that the evidence provided for the change was inadequate but went along with the change anyway.
