No problem, I just wanted to make the point that they fought the court case in the Canadian justice system for 12 long years. And that was only the beginning of it for them.

Now anyone who even puts up a fundraising poster for them gets jumped on by TRAs including the loathsome Oger. A woman who owned an artisan sweet shop did and TRAs ran a campaign to ruin her business. Then of course there are the dead rats and abusjve and threatening graffiti.

I'm not sure. I don't think the law is that clear cut as VRR won their Supreme Court case in 2007 and I don't think that has necessarily been completely superseded by C-16.

So they ‘arbitrarily exclude some women’, do they? If it’s arbitrary then it can’t be discrimination. If I arbitrarily decide that only people with, for example, blue hair can visit my counseling center and then the next day say only people with brown eyes can access it, which would be arbitrary, then I’m not discriminating. I’m just making a decision about a random group who have no particular characteristics.

Or... is MO referring to the fact that the ‘women’ VRR are excluding all have penises? A shared biological characteristic?

So which is it: discrimination against ‘women’ with penises or an arbitrary and unfair decision with no basis? Funny they don’t mention the minor detail that the ‘women’ VRR are excluding could have male biology. Just glossing over that minor ‘arbitrary’ detail.
