Menstruators and people who have periods

Well, this has enraged me, and I am wondering if I am being unreasonable?

Audible has a sale on, and I was looking to see if there was anything worth buying, and the book “period power” was listed.
The blurb has left me enraged, and I wouldn’t now buy it even if I really was interested. (Aware I am cutting off my nose). Is it just me???

Kind? It really isn't. Language around this area - sex ed, development and safeguarding needs to be clear and precise. Forget kindness, think accurate.

What else does the word mean ? What is implied by words women and girls that is not equally implied by the longer phrase ? Why is woman ( which means effectively humans with periods) offensive yet saying people with periods isn't

There is nothing kind about colluding in the notion that unhappy girls are on any level boys.

And why are people allowed to be offended or upset if called a woman or a girl but other people are not allowed to be upset at being called a menstruator or a person with the innate capability to bear children etc etc

'To all the males' is fine. It's not like trans girls are not aware they have male anatomy. I am sure the teachers would be able to figure out that boys who identified as girls should still go to the talk about male puberty. Even my 4 year old can grasp this stuff.'

I dislike the use of the word “people” when clearly it’s one sex or the other.
Lots in the news about combating extremism and “ people” being let out if prison before they are ready. In truth they would have a lot more success if they said “men” ,as that would appear to be the major correlating factor in those that carry out these violent attacks. Rather than being Muslim for example (as this consists of many women who haven’t been on killing sprees in London).

There’s enormous misogyny in removing the word woman. I’ve long suspected it has little to do with inclusivity for females who have transitioned ...

...and everything to do with never being allowed to use the word woman in situations where it is used to define a group of people which does not include male transitioners.

This is rapidly being extended to the word female, as has been admirably demonstrated in this thread.
